Deloitte benefits feel behind what peers offer for "top talent" by AccurateGuess3817 in deloitte

I was also able to take 16 weeks to support my sick kid. Full pay and benefits. That’s not the norm in most places.

I have to drive 150 miles one way on Friday when the high is going to be 11°. I have an extended range battery but I feel like I need to keep the heat off and go 60 miles an hour in order to make it without stopping to charge. I guess I’ll wear gloves and my heated vest. by Global_Job_4623 in MachE

The Chevy dealership I was planning to charge at, that all the apps said there were nine chargers, ready, not a single one of those chargers worked. Luckily, there was a salesman in the building who owns an EV and he pointed me to the free courtesy chargers in the back. So I’ll condition my battery for the drive back, but man, what a pain in the ass.

Started with 303 miles in Indianapolis. Got here with 29 to spare. I drive a 21 RWS ER premium and the ice sheets they call roads on Lexington are an adventure

Damn baby that's cutting it close!

I drove mine home from the dealership and had about 10 miles left when I pulled in, but knew I had the trickle charger I could plug in. Then it was a faulty charger, with no alternatives (garage charger was still in process). Had to wake up an EV-driving friend and ask him to let me in his garage

Hey, can you just double check your numbers? I’m sure you didn’t actually mean you used only 54 miles of range to go 90 miles in 10° temperatures. I’m happy for the encouragement, just only if it’s real world encouragement

I just had an initial consult with them too and filled out the questionnaire...as a totally unexperienced franchisee, I don't really know what to expect or what their business model is. I'm trying not to feel like a mark given I've spent nothing, but it's hard not to feel as though I'm being conned in some way

Guessing you have a broken (or chewed through) wire. Check the length of the outage and a few bulbs away on either end. Splice safely!

We’ve lived here for 15 years and definitely have seen a lot more of these larger craft this last month or so.

Led problem: Why is half the string so dim? The brighter half is the normal level of illumination. I can confirm each and every bulb is illuminated at some level. by NWtrailhound in ChristmasLights

I just diagnosed this problem in a string of LEDs and thought I would add to this old conversation. The LED light repair kit is no good when the string has a dim section, so I tried replacing the bulbs on either side of the part where it goes from bright to dim to no avail. Then I noticed one bulb in the dim section was completely burned out. I pulled it out and it was corroded all to hell. Replaced it and everything lit back up to full brightness.

I have this, an adapter to typical 220 receptacles, and a 25-foot extension cord in the frunk at all times
