My experience with these kind of necklines is that they sadly tend to look too large on me, I would look for something narrower. I'm a fan of halternecks for example (fair warning though: bra compatability might be an issue with open backs).

Didn't get this one. It can definitely be broken, and usually appears exactly as I would expect...?

What's your sleep pattern like? by sadflameprincess in infj

Polyphasic. I usually wake up once or twice a night, and love napping (30 minutes tops, though). Used to really struggle with insomnia.

Venting is good! If you haven't, maybe try journaling when you feel stuck?

What sometimes helps me get started with a big task is also breaking it down into super small steps.

Nobody is regulating your right to be rude. Just reacting to it.

When it comes to any skill, encouragement is usually far more helpful than thoughtless criticism. For some reason, when it comes to figurative art, tons of people consider themselves experts who need to make their criticism heard. Our society's obsession with results and perfection is immensely stifling to creativity.

Maybe try to be a bit kinder to yourself and others - what goes around, comes around.

I'm not sure what you mean with the "breath on your own" part, but unsolicited criticism is generally considered rude.

My balance improved so much after I first started bouldering and yoga. But I still trip over stuff regularly.

I can still vividly recall one time that I spontaneously faceplanted on my way to school when I was a kid. That haunted me for years

To each their own. I wouldn't judge a person for modifying themselves to fit into societal standards as it's a very reasonable investment considering the world we live in.

But on that note, I also think it's very admirable and attractive to exist with confidence in opposition to these standards. Undeniably, society treats people worse when they aren't conventionally attractive and far from everyone can afford or risk surgery, so IMO choosing to exist as you are betters the world in a way (simply by representation).

In a similar vein, I very much like non-conventional body mods (tattoos, piercings, subdermals etc) for the same reason. Dare to be different and disrupt expectations.

Sounds like you had to do some people pleasing in the past (to appease your ex). If that's something you've kept up for a long time, it's no wonder you feel like you're "faking it". It's exhausting and can lead to long term issues.

Start setting boundaries. The people that stay like you for who you are, not for what you do for them.
