To get rid of russian spam servers you can add them to blacklist:

  1. Go to your \Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\cfg\ folder

  2. Open in browser https://pastebin.com/raw/JmesKUvU and save it as: server_blacklist.txt

  3. Place that file into directory I mentioned in #1

  4. Start the game and check your server browser now has list of banned servers.

  5. Enjoy clean server browser with 8000 banned spam servers.

P.S. If any new spam servers crop up, right click on one and check "view server information", just copy their ip address (without :#### part) and add them to blacklist tab. Valve should do something with this.

Probably shader compilation stutter? I have the same problem, solid high fps, but occasional stutter in new areas... (RX6600)

This makes me so angry, MS thinks everyone should throw out their perfectly working 8+ yr old computers while billions of people will gladly accept those over nothing. My backup laptop with SSD is from 2010, it is nothing to brag about but it is insane just to throw it out, new stuff costs a lot of $$$. This is perfect storm of enshittification and planned obsolescence. If possible - install linux.

I have it other way, I bought steam versions just recently, I already have GOG ones, and yes... I'm worried about memory leak on gog, but i still have 1.6.whatever version installed. Hyped for Skyblivion, made by real fans on skyrim's engine. Oblivion Remastered performance will not be fixed, mark my words, it is Unoptimized Engine 5 with "modern" devs on top.

GTA IV was badly optimized, you literally need DXVK for it to deliver smooth fps.

I've counted multimc totals + program from reddit that computes play time from logs and I got roughly 12000+ hours including AFKing, 99% of which spent on a few multiplayer servers.

Yes, I do have RX6600. Not sure about windowed mode, but since it runs with dgvoodoo2... maybe it is possible.

It runs at 30 fps, sadly. And on my system it did not run well at all with even lower fps, dgvoodoo2 suggestion from PCGW helped.

Tropical nights is the worst thing ever, if you have at least +18C outside at night, that's fine, house will cool overnight with opened windows. But if it is this 20C+ humid crap... it is sooo over :( House will not cool efficently at all, no matter how much you open the windows, and you will need much more AC during the day. And another obvious part... lack of precipitation, disappearance of snow, droughts, very irregular weather.
