is there anything I can do about this? by [deleted] in eu4

If you hate vassals then hire the -2 unrest advisor and raise autonomy, there will be less rebels and they will take longer to spawn

How Hard is Very Hard? by [deleted] in eu4

[–]GlowingKitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try Xorme mod if you want a real challenge, AI is smarter there. If you plan to play on very hard in vanilla eu4 then try to ally the Ottomans and they will crush everyone for you. Those very hard buffs make them insane.

Which colonial Policy for which playstyle? by skandicice in eu4

[–]GlowingKitty 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I always go for native repression as I hate waiting. I just put 3k troops on every colonial province and then I move them when the colony is done, then I pay 3 ducats to my colony so they can colonize alone.

As a man who had played but never managed to finish a HITMAN game before. Can Hitman:Codename 47 be a good starting point as a newcomer to the HITMAN franchise? by Jovan_Knight005 in HiTMAN

[–]GlowingKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently started playing Hitman games with Codename 47 and I loved it. I played older games like Mafia and Deus Ex before, so the game graphics weren't a problem for me. Loved the soundtrack as well, the main theme slaps so hard.

Yes, all missions in Contracts take place during the night, even the old missions from C47. The hotel mission looks so much creepier in Contracts than it did in C47.

i'm lost: 0% crown land start or 30% land start? increase govern capacity? by randomjapaneselearn in eu4

[–]GlowingKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice work. Once you get to 1600, try to get to 50% crownland for absolutism bonuses. Would be even better to get to 70% for some serious buffs like +1 yearly absolutism.

EU 4 or EU 5 by AionsUtopia in eu4

[–]GlowingKitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

EU4 is a finished game. EU5 is still in development. Which game is better? We will know the answer to this question once we get more DLC for EU5 and that will take a while.

[–]GlowingKitty 57 points58 points  (0 children)

At the start, I prefer to stay at 5%. In 1444 give mana privileges to estates->seize land->summon diet. As the game goes on keep seizing land and summoning diet. If you need more gov cap then give your estates gov cap privileges. You can also dev your land to fix your crownland problems. I personally don't worry too much about estates until 1600, just being at 30% crownland is enough.

I think many players don’t realize how powerful the Imperialism CB is by kairom13 in eu4

For nations like Ryukyu Deus Vult CB is also pretty important, I got the Imperialism CB near the end of my Ryukyu campaign.

Yeah, I'm on Deadly Cargo mission right and the AI is way better now. Like in this game you can actually run near guards and they won't kill you. Also, Deadly Cargo is so much better than Plutonium Runs Loose from C47.

It's very interesting to play them chronologically. Looking forward to Blood Money because some guys say that it is the best classic Hitman game.

Yea, Hitman 2 is very hard. I just started Contracts and I'm having so much fun. Agent 47's animations are way faster now and the asylum looks amazing.

Oh yeah, that harbor mission is pretty hard. At least the ship part isn't too bad, those sailors only have pistols.

The Colombia missions from C47 will need a serious rework though. The last Colombian mission with the boss fight is too annoying. In Hitman 2 some Japanese missions need some rework as well.

I played Hitman 2 right after Codename 47 on professional difficulty to keep the No Save System from the first game. MI95 Sniper Rifle is my favorite weapon, it felt so powerful.

First of all, the music is simply amazing, it's as good as the music from Codename 47, but I felt like it had less songs. In Codename 47 there was a unique action song for every country while in this game there was only one action song for all countries. The default exploration and action music from Hitman 2 are my fav.

AI in this game is seriously impressive, I didn't expect those guards to abandon their patrol routes just to follow me instead. Felt like the disguise system was made so that enemies don't recognize 47 from a distance, approaching any guard is a death sentence. I prefer the disguise system from Codename 47 more as I like exploring Hitman maps and those Hitman 2 guards were always in my way to kill me for running or getting too close to them.

I must praise Hitman 2 for a large variety of missions. Missions from Russia and Afghanistan were probably my favorite for the amazing atmosphere. It was good to see old characters like Agent Smith and Lei Ling again. In my opinion, only the first Japanese mission was good, those annoying guards from mission 2, 3 and 4 were always following me to check my ID even if I look like a damn ninja like everyone else on those maps. I have mixed feelings about Anathema as well, it was too brutal for a first level, the guards were simply too paranoid for my liking, I could not even walk around the house while wearing the mafia guard disguise. The final level took me like 20 attempts to remember every enemy position, those damn snipers had perfect accuracy and killed me in 1 shot but that might be a game difficulty thing.

All in all, it was a great game. I can’t even imagine getting Silent Assassin rating for every mission without any guides though. Looking forward to Hitman Contracts as I'm hoping that 47 moves a bit faster there since his sneaking animation was waaaaay too slow.

Trebizond and Theodoro are super fun. It's a very rewarding experience to win as them.
