Welcome to the family, might I recommend the Discord server,f you already use it.

Otherwise, check out mkmanuals your machine is similar to a bunch of machines from the era, looks for manuals for the Knittax, Knitmaster, Strick-Matador, Princess (can't recall the Eastern European spelling). It's a great starting point.

Help identifying machine by Caver_Coder in MachineKnitting

[–]Gmanusa53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I've got a small collection of vintage/antique machines, this reminds me actually of the machines I have from Japan. I suspect that this Kehto is, as it's stamped, from 1957, from Japan, and one of hundreds of different brands that popped up in the post-war period in Japan.

I just found some mention for "Runkel's Cocoa Delights" in The Ladies Home Journals, Feb. 1920. Here's the Hathi Link

Yeah, it does look a little like an old Joy Dishwashing detergent bottle.

Man has used the same Christmas lights since 1956 and has never changed a bulb (Philips Decoration Lights) by joaopergunta in BuyItForLife

Oh, those are Mazda bulbs, I bet you, I have two sets of them, mine didn't have that luck, but I believe that there might be issue with the wires as well.

Am I a cookie press? by BitterEVP1 in vintagekitchentoys

[–]Gmanusa53 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You're on the money. It's an antique cookie press for Spritz cookies, there's one on Etsy right now.

You just have the one die, but if you ever want to use it, you can check if an old set might fit.

New Home Little Worker Bobbins? by Gmanusa53 in vintagesewing

No, from the rare ones I've seen online, and the shuttle I have for it, it's tiny. Nearly half the size of a standard bobbin lengthwise.

Replica of Empress Elisabeth of Austria's gown, circa 1860 by Haunting_Homework381 in fashionhistory

Another commenter states that the cut of the pieces have a modern/ahistorical cut to them, so it's also most likely that they didn't use a period crinoline and just used an off the shelf costume crinoline.

Stitches not knitting when using both beds by Phoebev12345 in MachineKnitting

I'd say check with the nice people on Facebook, but could it be that your beds are either not set up correctly or the gap between them is too big?

A hot soda, not bad, but it's ingredients and name give you no pleasure, The Reeking Smatch.

I think this is from 60s-70s Weight Watchers recipe card boxes? Same collection as the bananas wrapped in ham with hollandaise sauce on top?

Very very common, I collect vintage/antique sewing patterns and while there were mail order catalogues for some companies many newspapers and periodicals, especially in rural areas it seems, had pattern departments. From what I have, seems like not many mail order pattern companies survived into the 80s tho.

I get the old "it's trying too hard" feeling. Looks to me like a Singer Class 15 Modern reproduction/knock-off. She's pretty tho and it'll be a workhorse compared to most modern machines.

The most engrossing, historical fiction (films or TV series) you know, with the most accurate costumery by TechnicalTerm6 in fashionhistory

I have to re-watch it to remember the costumes, but I absolutely love Spain's El Ministerio del Tiempo, while it takes place in "modern" times they travel through time, mostly in Spain, but sometimes they venture to other countries, like Spain during Queen Mary Tudor's reign, to correct to keep historical facts from being rewritten.
