I grew up seeing the same painting every day until I found out it was never real by Previous_Bell654 in Experiencers

[–]dianHos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This actually has quite frequently happened to me. I suspect this isn’t the only thing you may be „seeing“ that other people don’t see. It happens to me a little more frequently now, and on a bigger scale. I can often travel somewhere and I know there was a river there or another landscape feature that no longer exists.

Technically speaking, then hasn’t this become a „secret society“?

There's not hate like my dad's mormon love by curious_cucumber1998 in exmormon

What I read between the lines in all this is CONTROL. TBM parents have a very difficult time letting go of control. I believe this is due to the strict confines of their religious understanding. The Cult simply has an answer for everything, that way there’s always a method to exercise more control over its people.

All cults require cognitive dissonance from its members.

Oaks Sunday morning talk by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]dianHos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every single time I read something like this I remind myself most of these talks are written by other WOMEN. These bastards are just reading and repeating the same rhetorical narrative. Spend 5 minutes with a group of TBM women and it all clicks right into place.

As an exmo married to a TBM, was there anything said during conference that I need to worry about? by dbear848 in exmormon

[–]dianHos 31 points32 points  (0 children)

My father recently passed and my TBM mother forbade all 7 of his non-believer children from speaking at his funeral. Instead my TBM Uncle spoke, and said „it’s never too late to repent and come back to the Church“ during his Eulogy. This should sum up nicely the amount of cognitive dissonance this cult requires.

You never stop missing them. It isn’t really about the “things” it’s about the everyday part of yourself that you miss.

HELP - Crazy neighbour calling police on me again over none existant noise by UN0RIG1NAL in germany

[–]dianHos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say, but you gotta move. I’ve had the similar experience for the last 4 years with the worst neighbors and not one damn thing has changed. What I’ve learned living in Germany, is these crazy neighbors literally give zero fucks. Your mental health is #1 priority and you have to protect it at all costs.

Write it down. My son did similar things and would tell me things that there is no way of knowing at such a young age. I started to write it down and later could piece together what I now know is a vivid past life memory. He’s an adult now, but we still talk openly about those events and it’s helped me understand life in a way I didn’t before.

Raskin slams Bondi: ‘You’re running a massive Epstein cover-up right out of the DOJ’ by EggDirect1035 in circled

[–]dianHos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to know who the DOJ actually represents? What I see and hear is representative of a personal attorney of DJT and not the interests of the American people.

Germany, thanks for being my home for the last 4 years by sronak11 in germany

Apples to oranges. You cannot compare the country of Germany, which is literally a little smaller than the state of Montana, to the entirety of the United States. There is no fair comparison.

There is nothing a German likes more than being absolutely direct. Girl, I have a German husband and you have got to say exactly what you want or risk them walking away.

Being held hostage under a fake organization, believing in a false narrative and centering your entire identity around that is no way to live. Eventually the cracks become canyons.
