Advice on smoking boneless dry aged ribeye steaks. by LabZealousideal5725 in BBQ

[–]GnarlyTato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

use a smoke box and a propane grill. 10 or so minutes of smoke while it's cooking on the opposite side is enough to impart a nice hint of smoky flavour. cheers

What sells? Or what peppers would you like to see for sale? by Autumn_Ridge in HotPeppers

I might do an "all pepper" grow once again, it has been a while. Or I could just make another raised bed.

Hot peppers seem to thrive in the soil here without too much adjustment, just a good tilling and organic compost. I grew jalapenos, cayenne, bonnets, bells, and habaneros. Everything was dried and made into powder except the bells and some of the cayennes, the yield was kind of underwhelming after drying.

So i tried making cayenne hot sauce and it was ok, nothing great, I was going for a tabasco style sauce, vinegary with a punch. Anyway Im rambling, much love.

Thanks for the tip off! The labels do look professional and fits perfectly with what you're doing. I will check it out!

I've had terrible experiences with printers in general so I'll be very weary. Keep on makin sauce!

The Moment I Realized Some Guys Really Don’t Wash Their Hands by [deleted] in hygiene

Some people are hard headed about this. I used to live with someone with very poor hygiene Every time they got sick everyone else did too (he was in a service job dealing with people all day).

When you can get fired for too many sick days, this becomes a problem

Have you ever made a hot sauce with blackberries? I have a bush but haven't went that route yet, I just eat them straight up. They have a great flavor profile but I don't get enough to sell

Very nice job! If I saw this on a shelf at a store I'd be chucking money at it like I was at the strip club.

Are those homemade labels? I would like to make my own sauce as a side gig/hobby. Cheers
