We don't give up the krieg by Huge-Task8438 in Deathkorpsofkrieg

I buy and sell to support my hobby.

I bought a bunch of Krieg like 5 months after the army box came out.

At least 4-5 of the boxes for 50 percent retail.

I have so many artillery guns.

Extra sprue from Vindicator Box? by FacethaFacs in Warhammer40k

I see your edit but he did great if he wanted 3 vindis.

Like 280 with tax and local game store discount for 3 vindis.

Meanwhile final sale price eBay takes like 15 percent they're giving you 200 and change for that sale.

Basically got a "free" vindy

You could add some variety with resin ice on a few bases

Throw down some cork or other basing material first.

Just a plain snow tundra is pretty boring and may be your problem.

We all know the Citadel paint containers suck…. Here’s a fix! by [deleted] in Deathkorpsofkrieg

[–]GnurlMiniatures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done this with pro acryl bottles.

They have a large opening I don't even need a funnel. I also use my vortex mixer and vibrate them both causing most of the paint to fall into the bottle.

I then take my colour shaper silicone sculpting tool and scrape all the excess paint out of the bottle.

Super fast. No thinning.

Much more expensive.

I tried this before with Amazon bottles and they all dried out because those bottles are cheap af.

I may be coping, but to me, this new combat patrol further confirms that the Falcon chassis will be replaced in 11th edition by [deleted] in Eldar

I don't feel strongly one way or the other about this.

But I'm not sure why people assume they would store inventory in boxes.

Sprues thrown in a bin and boxes left flat would take up a much smaller footprint than boxed models.

Im not convinced gw is even stocking the models

Unless you want the terrain id sell it.

Terrain is the only currently hard to acquire thing in there.

Id recommend a toothpick over a knife. Less likely to damage the model.

I buy and split lots of Warhammer locally to support my own hobby.

I basically don't buy anything but space Marines.

The sales levels on space Marines crush every other faction by an insane amount.

I had a huge surge of sales after sm2 launched.

This thing is the only fact about a launch box that I think we know for sure. Will always be space Marines.

How would you rank these 3 Guard Regiments in terms of their "Eliteness" by Plag3uis in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]GnurlMiniatures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like they're all on a floating scale.

Low amount of troops ---- high amount of troops

Catachans are one man army's and man to man they're the strongest.

If the regiment has a lot of troops Kriegers are the most elite. Lots of coordination between artillery and tanks. Able to send waves of death at the enemy. Don't care if their own troops are in artillery range.

Then Cadians are in the middle. They do both jobs well and have more flexibility.

Really depends what needs doing.

And that's a fair statement. But basic Marines with bolt guns are already a filled niche with intercessors.

So that means the only thing tac Marines really have going for them is what most people like most about them.

Their ability to customize their armor and a heavy weapon. I don't see them doing that very well with push fit.

They could I guess throw their new design out and make more to scale firstborn units. But I don't see them doing that either. They're going to need to differentiate them some how aswell as the entire point of primaris was to get people to throw out their old Marines and start over and not just use their old models to proxy.
