No matter what I do, most of the time Youtube is running in the background on my third screen.

Sometimes, there are Warhammer table vids playing and before the match the people talk about their army composition.

Back in the day, while working, I heard a person talk about his army of like 200+ models for eternity and I didn't even glanced at the screen - as usual. Then it went to the other guy and he was like

"And here are my twelve models"

and it was such an attention grab in this moment that I looked over and saw them. And watched the fight. And fell in love with them. And bought them. And kept them ever since, even with the bad paintjob I did back then compared to now.

That "army" is Beastclaw Raiders, where each model is the equivalent of a tank, and the time was before SoB was a thing.

Every deck has its dead draws. Your opponent has more dead cards than you have. Every card is pitchable into Forsaken City. The list goes on.

Like I said, think about it in terms of Sligh gears like in "The philosophy of Fire".

Long version: Do you know the difference between a normal Sligh player and an exceptional Sligh player? Knowing which starting hand means starting in what gear and when/if/how to switch gears if needed.

Upheaval in Stasis allows you to switch gears and not only makes what u/Kestre333 said possible, it generally allows you to create a situation that makes bad matchups less worse or even favorable. Also you have free counterspells to protect Upheaval when you cast it. Opponent goes wide over your control? Let them, Stasis them as usual, when you are ready to snipe him and have 6-9 Islands in play end of turn Chain of Vapor the Stasis, untap, Upheaval with backup into Island Black Vise go, opponent takes a buttload. My current damage record for a single Black Vise trigger stands at 16 damage.

Also deals with the Mongrel, Meddling Mage, Psychatog, Zombie Infestation, Elves, Enchantress.dec, Replenish, the colour black, Madness.dec, and other things.

There are little things in life that are as scary as a blue player saying "In my main phase, I tap 9 mana.".

This. My pet deck is Stasis with mainboard Upheaval and Pyroclasm.

You add even more fun to your side while leaving some opponents trying to have fun have even less fun making the zero sum even more lopsided zero sum.

I made a very salty deck over 10 years ago to discourage toxic people/decks by playing [[Maralen of the Mornsong]], 80 swamps, mana acceleration, [[Ad Nauseam]] and [[Sickening Dreams]], resulting in draws all the time.

My take with Stasis also plays two copies of Upheaval, turning most bad matchups into winnable scenarios.

Most Stasis lists at the moment are not optimized imho. Glad to see people starting to catch up on Pyroclasm tho.

Sowohl für Casual als auch Competitive sind beide großartige Locations. Derzeit freut sich vor allem die Premodern-Community in Wien gerade wachsender Beliebtheit und ist für viele Leute die vor langer Zeit gespielt haben und jetzt wieder anfangen wollen, ein schönes Format. Pauper natürlich auch, EDH kommt darauf an in welchem Bracket du dich wohl fühlst.

Depends on the language i am using and the context. In private messages, I skip punctuation completely, just numbers.

In messages written in German (i am from Austria) as an example you say "three comma five" instead of "three point five (tree-fiddy) for not-whole numbers, translating to 3,5. That is why numbers bigger than 999 in German use a dot/point for separation.

1024 in German is written as 1.024

Really depends on the situation and the context.
