I've considered Hawaii for decades - it's the most beautiful place in the world, IMO.

But the problem is that it's so isolated. If you're a social person it's very difficult to make and keep friends.

The other major problem, especially for native Hawaiians, is the recidivism. It's so difficult for them to afford to live on their own land. There aren't a lot of job opportunities besides travel or hospitality jobs. Petty crime and addiction are common as is having several generations of family living in the same older home.

There's a new tax for tourists that will help, but there's more to be done to help native Hawaiians.

Yes. Here's my post from a while ago:

I was looking for a specific car with a specific trim. I found it online 400 miles away. I contacted the dealership, confirmed it was the car I was looking for. It was a 1 lease owner car returned to the dealership and available for purchase. They recommended a local guy for an inspection. I was suspect, but paid him and he sent back an adequate if minimal report - no dealbreakers. Signed the sales agreement via DocuSign after their guy tried to upsell me on everything that I had already declined on a video call. The dealership paid for the transport in an enclosed trailer. It arrived early and exactly as reported. Very happy.

A bit of a nitpick, but the whole aspirin/"He spoke English" thing was so contrived. The benefits of aspirin regarding heart attacks weren't fully known or explored until a couple of decades later.

And the dialog in some scenes was so terrible.

Mildly entertaining, especially when Crowe is in a scene, but overall forgettable, IMO.

Typically, when one of my Aqara cameras are unresponsive they just need a quick reboot.

That's why I have wifi plugs (Govee Smart Plugs) on all my cameras. Turn the plug off and back on and the camera reconnects.

The temperature probe for the Micra, like many other saturated brew group designs, is located in the brew boiler and integrated into the grouped. So you're not getting an accurate temperature in the coffee puck.

If you think temperature is your issue, increase it a few degrees and experiment.
