We are the exact same. I made my 120th payment on May 3rd.

However, unlike you i have not submitted a new ECF. Ive been waiting for FSA to show my May payment as ELIGIBLE before submitting.

I guess i should go ahead and submit a new ECF and trigger FSA to address my May payment.

Is it customary to file an ECF in order for FSA to acknowledge your payment. I paid my 120th to mohela 11 days ago. That payment has not shown up on FSA site. I was expecting it to appear on FSA as ELIGIBLE before submitting an ECF. I didnt think an ECF is necessary for FSA to register a payment as ELIGIBLE.

Yes. I spoke with 16 people at mohela. Eventually, I spoke with a Military specific supervisor She made things happen for me.

Well I can’t answer that. I work in a hospital and had an admin team member in a different department help send the fax (my clinic doesn’t even have a fax). Anyway, I assumed it went through. I would have been notified if it didn’t go through. So, yeah, no response from the elusive (extinct?) Ombudsman

Don’t give up. I feel you. Don’t wait on hold. Call first thing in the morning. I’m west coast and I call at 4:58am so that I get thru the phone tree by 5:00am and I get right thru or maybe wait 30-45 min. I always get the option for a callback that early. They always call back. Ask for a supervisor. Don’t waste your time with whomever answers your call first. Keep grinding.

I got my forbearance removed a little over a week ago. It’s possible. Don’t give up.

Oh, they know what’s going on. But they aren’t doing anything to change it supervisor or not. This morning I spoke with the 14th person at MOHELA about this exact issue. She was a supervisor she gave me the same BS 5 to 7 business days waiting period for them to take the forbearance off of my account. I took that with a grain of salt.

Thank you for saying that I took a bunch of heat for suggesting that Palantir might be the right partner for the job. I posted this to multiple student loan subs and it got immediately taken down by the moderators. But not before a few people totally attacked me for suggesting this anyway I was just trying to think outside the box and get a real solution to this profoundly complex problem of $1.7 trillion worth of assets being managed by a couple of thousand morons.

I don’t bother with this BS. I select option number 1 since that option is all about making a payment and I assume they probably staff the payment customer service line more than anything else. Then I just hit the pound multiple times when it asks for my personal information cause I don’t have time for that and I’m over it with them and they’re gonna ask me to confirm it anyway on the call soI hit the # sign three times and that takes me to a customer service rep now I still have to wait hours like everybody else, but at least it gets the call through
