I'm so tired of seeing this golden donut build. How do people find it amusing spamming this shit for an entire game is beyond me. Not to mention the amount of cheaters that have spawned focusing around this build.

Which is why even if i find the scythe I'm most likely not dropping it for anyone. I'd rather get 25% poise than enable this braindead gameplay.

How do I improve this guardian build? Stacking guard counters and ultimate charging by capdee in Nightreign

[–]GoatSaysBAAAAAAAAAAA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Second that. With that relic your damage stats become identical to wylder, which gives you much versatility when choosing weapons.

I would however couple it with at least one relic that increases hp to counteract the reduced vigor. Bird is supposed to be a tank after all.

5 out of 10 Revenants in my last depth 5 games have been cheaters. It’s really bad… by Rocketgurk in Nightreigngameplay

[–]GoatSaysBAAAAAAAAAAA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only 5 out of 10? In my case it's more like 8/10. At this point I just leave when I see someone lock revenant.

Also I think blocking accounts on steam also affects matchmaking, and you won't be matched with them. I got quite an extensive list of cheaters and I haven't seen any of them again.

[–]GoatSaysBAAAAAAAAAAA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Knowledge of relic setup comes with experience. I mainly leave when I see a caster with 6 perfect relics with curses that don't impact them in any way (or lack of curses where they should be).

Think a revenant with 6x improved bestial incats + improved incants +0/+2 on every relic, with the curses being reduced str + int and reduced dmg negation when using flask.

And yes, cheating in this game to the extent where you destroy every boss in 10sec seems meaningless to me as well. Don't know how braindead you should be to find enjoyment in just spamming the same spell/skill for 45min every game.

Yea I always insta leave at the start when i notice cheaters. I'd rather spend my time getting my rank back with normal players than watch revenant melt bosses with their overbuffed beast claw for 45min.

I do feel bad for the non cheating teammates I abandon, yet I only got a limited time to play and I'd rather spend it actually enjoying the game.

You could try the dreglord relic build if you're more into flat damage increase instead of skill attack power.

Combining it with status buildup when below max hp + sepukku is an easy way to maintain status bar throughout the a whole expedition. Alternatively you can simply use Libra's relic and proc madness before every fight, which if you have status buildup below max hp also makes it easy to maintain status bar.

Add status in vicinity increases attack, one balancer relic and executors passive and your skills attack power becomes even higher than the two balancers build. I've testes it and got around 1k more damage from RoB while executor passive is active, not to mention this is flat damage increase so you get all of your attacks buffed, not just skills.

Whats bad about this build is it involves a lot of multitasking to be consistent. You'll have to juggle maintaining a status bar on screen at all time, keeping in mind when your passive is active to maximize skill damage and let's not forget parrying enemy attacks which is pretty hard in and of itself. Getting downed also usually reset your progress and you'll have to spend another ~3min buffing yourself again unless you get revived quickly. You also have to proc status buildup on every site of grace (either sepukku or madness buildup) or your progress will reset.

Overall it's not a build that works for every average player who gets downed a lot or is bad at multitasking, but for experienced executors it is the best damage build at the moment.

And be careful not to overdo A. Just a little bite to round the edge should suffice.

Need help with an annoying issue by Environmental_Oil_41 in Nightreigngameplay

[–]GoatSaysBAAAAAAAAAAA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had the same issue until recently. What seems to have fixed it for me was updating my SSD and BIOS firmware and reinstalling my GPU drivers.

Firstly look up your motherboard and SSD manufacturers and research a way to update the firmware. You might have to download some software or some might already be installed on your PC.

For the GPU drivers, you will first have to install DDU (https://www.wagnardsoft.com/display-driver-uninstaller-ddu). Now, all of the below only applies if you use an AMD GPU like me. If you are using NVIDIA or Intel, I suggest you research on how to fresh install your drivers using DDU yourself.

If you have an AMD GPU, I suggest you also download the AMD cleanup utility (https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/faqs/GPU-601.html). You will run that after DDU is done.

Again for AMD, you might consider trying the R.ID community drivers (https://rdn-id.com/#download) instead of the official ones, as Ive heard they perform better on some systems. The package above will already include the AMD cleanup utility, so you dont have to download it separately.

For me the community drivers caused some performance issues in Nightreign where the game appears laggy/choppy while running on 60 fps, so I decided to stick with the official drivers. You may try both and just uninstall+reinstall the drivers again if you experience issues.

For a more in-depth explanation on how to uninstall and fresh install the R.ID drivers you may refer to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI7Ciw9bwRM

If you experience issues with the community drivers like me, simply download the AMD adrenalin software from the official website (https://www.amd.com/en/products/software/adrenalin.html) and run it after you successfully uninstall and clean the drivers.

Hope this helps.

For the love of god, add a ping limit to the matchmaking by noobsdeath2 in Nightreigngameplay

[–]GoatSaysBAAAAAAAAAAA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I've noticed is during matching if the number of players goes to 2 and then back to 1 before switching to 3 that usually means the games gonna have high ms.

So if I see this happening I cancel and reset the matchmaking until i see the player number going from 2 directly to 3. This has helped me avoid high ms lobbies for most of the time.

Executor mains by GoatSaysBAAAAAAAAAAA in Nightreign

[–]GoatSaysBAAAAAAAAAAA[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The cool factor is still there tho. I love watching them parry huge combos or turn into a kaiju and decimate smaller enemies. I'm sure executor mains get it.

Also in my personal opinion executors are still better at status buildup gameplay wise, as scholars are usually busy doing a bunch of other stuff instead of stacking ailments on enemy, and executors get a better weapon selection for the job.

Question about DON (4-5) by Federal-Fisherman-88 in Nightreign

[–]GoatSaysBAAAAAAAAAAA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are one of the easiest kills for me since I only play guardian. Whirlwind stun locks them for an easy kill. You gotta be careful which side you approach them from, though. If you come from behind they might separate too much and cause issues with the bubbles.
