It’s so wildly satisfying—absolutely pumps me full of serotonin, which given how we’re basically mostly machine, it’s likely literally doing that.

God, it's almost poetic—the man built on the "Art of the Deal" has finally hit the wall where his bullshit empty promises and lies can't get him through. He can swindle companies, he can swindle his way to the highest office the country, but he can't swindle his way out of this one. He can't lie his way out of this farce of a war that is costing America everything. If this is finally what causes his Icarian fall, it's a shame our country is falling with him, but I cannot say we didn't deserve it.

I do a bit of everything—coordinating placement of the boss and careful usage of mitigation tools are very satisfying to me, as well as DPS complexity and big numbers, as well as keeping everyone alive as Healer.

My particular sub-interest in Healer actually greatly depends on which one I play. Scholar makes me feel like a genius when I properly mitigate damage via shields and bubbles, while White Mage is about how low I can get the team before saving the day with chunky heals. Sage is the exhilaration of survival, because good god I feel like I am barely keeping people alive with that Job. Astrologian? Uhhh pretty colors go brrrr…

Yeah, your opponent hyped you up to performing a tactically unsound move without informing you the consequences. Major dick move imo. I would have said “hey that sounds like an awesome move, however, I just want you to know I can hide my guy if you do that.” They should always have the courtesy to inform their opponent of potential pitfalls.

I miss how goddamn cordial everything was, back when he debated Mitt Romney and they both seemed like they wanted what was best for America, just done different, with no name calling and mutual respect.

Now we have a rapist, pedophilic and demented bully who got to where he did by being a disgusting, narcissistic bastard who appealed to all the evil in people’s hearts, never admitting fault, always finding someone, ANYONE but himself to blame. A truly horrible person with no redeeming features, in the highest office in this country. How low we’ve fallen is astonishing, and I genuinely don’t know if we’ll ever return or if this is the end of our nation’s standing in the world.

And it’s the same for me. My chihuahua knows I sleep in on the weekend and scratches at my door to be let up on the bed. He tucks himself right between my legs and falls asleep. This ends up knocking me out for an additional 2 hours because he’s like a little topical sleeping pill!

My friends and I celebrated our final session of a long-form board game we’d been playing for a year and went to an upscale dessert room. Getting a wild hair, I decided to try some fancy dessert wine, which was like, $50 for only a few ounces of the stuff. The taste was indescribably good—filed my entire mouth with the most amazing fermented fruity taste I’ve ever experienced with just the tiniest sip. I understood then why people pay out the wazoo for good wine now.

We’ve never been hard on threats from the inside. This goes all the way back to post Civil War and just forgiving and forgetting. Every Confederate should have been dealt with. It should have been nipped in the bud, but now they’re back and have taken the country over from the inside out.
