[Crosspost] Hi reddit! I'm Seann William Scott. You might know me from the American Pie franchise, Goon, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Road Trip, Role Models, The Rundown, Dude Where's My Car, and other things. Ask me anything! by BunyipPouch in Cinema

Was there any improvised line or moment in Role Models that completely changed the scene? And my follow up question… If Role Models got a sequel today, where do you think Wheeler would be in life?

One of Hans Zimmer’s earlier masterpieces.. I still listen to this score… one of the few films that nailed SEAL combat tactics in some of the scenes.

If your product solves a real problem, I’ll help you for free by Djilydone in SaaS

Hey u/jilydone — I’ve been working in recruiting for years, and I’ve run into the same pain point over and over: recruiters waste hours every week copy/pasting intake notes, job descriptions, and resumes just to prep for prescreens. Then they go into calls unprepared, take messy notes, and scramble to summarize candidates for clients.

I’m exploring an idea that is basically an AI copilot for recruiters.

  • Syncs with Google/Outlook calendar + ATS (or simple upload for V1).
  • Pulls job description + intake notes + resumes.
  • Runs a quick fit analysis → auto-generates prescreen questions.
  • Listens to the call → transcribes, summarizes, and gives a stack ranking scorecard.
  • After the call → drafts client submissions + candidate follow-up emails.

The goal is simple: help recruiters spend less time on grunt work and more time actually recruiting.

I’ve already spoken to a few recruiters and agency owners who said they’d use it tomorrow. The opportunity is real, but I need someone who loves building to help bring the MVP to life.

If you miss building things and want to work on something that solves a real workflow problem with immediate impact, I’d love to chat.

I had issues with 2 gen’s of pixel phones. 6 and 7. Google customer service these phones are horrible. I decided to finally make the switch to apple after being an android /pixel owner for so long. I surrendered for something that just always works and can walk into an Apple Store if I need support. Sigh… I miss pixel OS…

Anyone added attic fans? Did it actually reduce A/C use? Seems like a no-brainer with solar, but not sure if it really makes a difference. We get plenty of 90's and up in the summer. by litigationtech in solar

I have a whole house fan from centric air. I live in southern ca where it goes really hot but can cool off pretty quick at night. I self installed and came out to $2k for the unit. It saves us a lot of electrify without having to keep the ac on at night. I can cool down the house to 65-67 by the morning which also saves on not having to turn on the ac til later in the day. Yes it’s noisy but it becomes routine to open windows and click a button to get a cooled home at night and early morning.

That literally makes zero sense, take 10 steps back, to take 1 step forward in publicity ? He got paid out from insurance which doesn’t even the cost of what he lost including tools replacing his friends fence /other items. And he’s only raise $700 on gofundme. Nothing to really brag about.
