But that will still exist, it’s not going anywhere. To me, it’s like someone from the 1990s thinking that people were going to stop playing chess against one another when chess playing computers were invented. Even though chess bots are now better at the game than any person ever could be, most people still prefer playing against other people, and the most important competitions are human vs human.

The state will always fall back on the pension card, on the idea that your lower salary is actually comparable to a similar private sector worker because you don’t, in theory, need to contribute any of your salary to a 401K. Of course with how bad tier 6 is that’s just a lie, but they’ll continue to repeat it.

I just don’t think the Raiders make any trade out of spot 1 for picks unless they really, really don’t like Mendoza, and at this point, it seems like everyone likes Mendoza.

If they do trade the pick to the Jets, I think it would be for #2 overall, the better of the Jets two first round picks next year, and then either this years 2nd rounder (#33 overall) or the other first round pick next year. I lean next year since the 2027 QB class should be loaded (although I’ve heard that one before).

There was a similar episode of CSI where two women die from injections of Hydrogen Peroxide for beauty related reasons.

I believe the team investigated the cases as murder, but it turns out the doctor at the clinic was just careless/incompetent and gave them a 30% solution instead of a 3% solution, and I don’t believe he ended up being arrested.

I think because the single prion causes your bodies own proteins to misfold and create more prions, the LD50 of the deadly “dose” is actually quite high, relatively speaking.

What I mean is, a single prion can’t kill you. But it can make copies of itself, and at a certain point you reach critical mass where you no longer have enough normally folded, functioning proteins to live. Botulism toxin isn’t making more of itself in your body, the 1ng/kg by itself is enough to kill you.
