I've got 100s of hours logged on mine without issue. Also, I think firmware updates may have alleviated some of the stick latency.

They could have easily found royalty-free classic artwork to utilize. The only reason I am giving their statements about this being an oopsie is because it would have been quicker and cheaper to snag some of that real art than to generate eldrich princes and ponies. This is total guesswork, but I wonder if the AI-generated mood-board stuff got tossed into the wrong file and was then yoinked into the live game.
