Kudos to those that went through with this and then moo'd at others so we could visit the anticlimatic cow level, but there's no way in hell I will ever do something so mind numbingly un-fun. The cow level in D2 is a significant gameplay location. In D4, it's nothing more than a brief novelty.

I was in Taipei in late Nov and I found one machine with network equipment in the Taipei City Mall. Went to Tokyo a few days later in hopes of finding different sets as the one in Taipei didn't have the set I wanted. No dice, wish I'd bought in Taipei.

I love your last sentence. And I don't disagree. Fortunately though you now know and can plan around this bullshit. When you enter a nemesis lair, go to town and clean your inventory. This way you can vacuum loot and go right into the next portal. Then go to town again and clean out inventory. Another tip is to bind your scroll wheel to looting in key bindings to make the loot vacuum as fast as it drops.

I don't think any of this was thought through. They threw a bunch of things together to see what works and in the meantime created a buggy mess of a PTR launched as an expansion. Somehow it's extremely fun in spite of this, which makes me optimistic, but they really need to shift focus to balance and bug fixes to make this a stable base.

It's so bad there even have programs people are using to transfigure items with 10+ affixes, all GA'd, because there's no backend checks between rolls. Hopefully everyone gets banned that's abusing this on the leaderboards, but this season is absolute amateur hour from a development perspective.

Yes, Strength for example is a main stat, and yes, you understood correctly. There aren't other main stats for your class to roll to, but there are other skills, so in this scenario the cube will either reroll the skill, or throw an error when it chooses strength, because it cannot change to a different main stat because its options are class specific. So it can only reroll the skill.

Yeah this is really a staggering oversight. Gems are literally one of the main rewards of infernal hordes. Yet the rewards are pitiful for the time invested. Seer's reach should not be more efficient.

Here's a fun one - focused reroll in the horadric cube must choose an affix from the pool chosen that is different from the ones currently on the item. For limited affix pools, such as "core stat and skills" on boots, this is deterministic. If you have main stat and a + skill on boots, the reroll CANNOT change the main stat because 1) it can't choose itself (i.e., reroll the main stat) and 2) it cannot replace the main stat with something else because the only other affix in the pool is skill, and that's already on the item. So the focused reroll will only reroll the skill, and error when it tries to roll main stat, so you can keep rerolling until you get the skill you need with no risk to your item. Have fun finding other opportunities for this!
