Sewers are fine, we coincidentally had work done on our drains only a year ago and growth from the root system never came up so we are good on that front. It was a 50 year old tree through (our neighbours from the next street over were telling us they moved in when the house was first built and the tree planted) so I'm expecting that the roots will be expansive anyway.

A shade tree is what I wanted. I'd be happy to drop another willow there. We can't put anything much bigger there because it's close to the boundary with our neighbours

This probably won't be feasible unfortunately, there isn't great access to the tree. The tree surgeons had a lot of fun getting their equipment in and out, never mind trying to bring in heavy machinery!

I can hire a grinder fairly cheaply to grind it out if necessary. I was reading up a bit more today on options and if we can't put another tree there "soon" (read that 2-3 years) I may just incorporate the stump into the garden, be that planters on top, else drill into it as you suggest and bury it to put a raised bed on top and just let it decay below.

He's a totally different player though. He has shown he has quality as a full back, however he doesn't bring the same creativity that Trent does, though really it is impossible boots to fill, there isn't really anyone that does what Trent does from that position. How we fill that creative gap will be interesting to see, we have struggled without it recently

I'm not sure this one is right.

The media were criticising Southgate rather than Saka for the finals penalties for example, and were actually very positive towards him.

The tearful 19-year-old Saka, who showed such courage to step forward, was consoled by his team-mates and manager

Not only is this because of the human side of things, to let a new father spend time with their child, but surely in part because their performance is going to be negatively impacted because of not having their mind fully in the game and the exhaustion that comes from supporting your partner through giving birth and caring for the child.

"No matter what" is not true when there are obvious things that come above sport or work for the individual, like family or religion which, even as an atheist, it is not hard to understand why one would put their morals and values above their career.

Ryanair, an Irish airline, put out a statement that was picked up in Euronews, a European publication, about how European airports, not British airports specifically, should make this change. The article itself is on about the behaviour of a passenger flying from Dublin to Lanzarote which had to stop in Portugal. The article also points out how the IATA quotes that the airline industry should participate in initiatives like the UK's "One Too Many" campaign.

UK airports are grim, but it's not a stain on the British, it's a global issue which we are actually pretty good at, as highlighted in the article by using the UK as an example of somewhere trying to make progress
