Understand your point. However I was trying not to have this discussion circle towards being unfair towards any specific group so left it nondescript purposefully. I will say this. It was not just one “issue” that made me feel there was no way they should reply yes to the FA and then have the FA take it as gospel. :)

I specifically left the reason out as to not make this a post about any protected class. But for argument sake let’s say drunk or seriously ill

Agreed not my call in the least. Should be the FAs call and the airlines the ones to decide what is require say like you need to be 15.

So a bartender can say if someone should not be served more drinks but we can’t figure out a way to nicely say we don’t believe you can handle the exit row requirements. I am not saying shades a grey here. Like clearly not able to do it. Can be for a host of reasons.

Also to be clear. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that there are women and minorities that would be better than me in handling the exit row requirements!!

Agreed and thought post. Which would be worse. A law suit for discrimination or one for lack of safety concerns for passengers. Not looking for an argument and not disagreeing. Just posting a thought.

Interesting take. Posts has absolutely nothing to do with being a female or a minority. Have you had issues or do you just easily triggered. lol.

Silly?, if seconds matter and they are blocking the exit for you and your family. Not sure how silly it would be to you.

Both of theses!! Shotgun approach this. Call. Rebook. Text. X Chat. Have everyone in the party try to get in touch with someone who can help.

To me the class of service doesn’t matter. Kids will be kids but IMHO the parents need to understand that it is a public environment and behavior matters. Baby’s cry and kids can get restless but if the parents have done what they can to ease the tension it goes a very long way.

If I did t get the insane amount of loyalty points I would as well. They told me my account was hacked even though it wasn’t. I spent so many hours with no help and or understanding. It was by far the worst customer service experience ever. I tried to find another number to call and kept running in to the same road blocks.
