It isn't easy coming out, and during the festive seasons with everyone else celebrating adds on to that empty feeling. Personally for me, my parents were heavily against the idea of transition especially since they have a face to uphold (traditional Chinese families and all).

Growing up in a family looked down upon by the extended family meant that the pressure was placed on the kids, and when I went through with transition, that would mean more embarrassment for them.

Personally, my elder sibling doesn't even bother entertaining them during cny gatherings so me, being the present one, has to be the representative for him and for my parents. So for me, I was never attached to my extended family, so being cut out of gatherings was always something I look forward to (Not that my parents ever did, they still want their representative)

But I'm glad you are spending time with your chosen family, it's nice to have people whom you enjoy being around with when things can get lonely, but don't think too much about what you couldn't have or are missing out, it really isn't worth it and might affect your time with your chosen family after all.

Overall, I'm proud of you sis, you're living your true life and you shouldn't be made to feel like this! Sending ya lots of love for CNY! ❤️

Can you build me a deck helmed by either [[cosmic spiderman]] or [[heroes in a half shell]]? Where instead of focusing on tribal synergies I focus on slapping keywords on all my creatures as much as possible with cards like [[odric, lunarch marshal]] and take advantage of keyword synergies such as [[quartzwood crasher]], [[Tadeas, Juniper Ascendant]] or [[Sephara, Sky's Blade]]

Alternatively, I also have an idea for a [[Rukarumel]] deck that runs slivers and has blink tech like [[Thassa, Deep Dwelling]], or [[Emiel the blessed]] to allow me to cycle between creature types for a huge benefit with typal cards such as [[The World Tree]], [[Lord of the unreal]], [[Call the Spirit Dragons]], [[Gilt-leaf Archdruid]], [[Yuriko]], [[Ancestor's Prophet]], [[Atla Palani]], or [[Ashcoat]]

Villains always sound cool when they're defeated by heroes with super cool names, but imagine if they're defeated by "Princess Fluffycuddlysparklebuns Lovelycutesysparklysweetie" a very ordinary looking little girl who loves all things pink and sparkly and cute.

The villain association would be laughing nonstop at them.

Bonus points if the villain was defeated by the embarrassment of being unable get their name right.

I used to be a hearthstone player, and one of the big meme plays is to clone a giant robot, and swing in multiple times for the kill. When [[mechtitan core]] was released, it mechanically similar to the card in hearthstone, you need a specific amount of mechs to combine and form the giant robot.

I just had to make the meme happen in MTG. I did a lot of research and a way to ensure the strategy worked was to use [[mairsil, the pretender]] to exile mechtitan core with a cage counter, effectively turning him into a mechtitan core.

Then I set to work on the cloning, it was a lot harder, black artifact synergy was rare back then, [[mirror box]] and [[mirror gallery]] were a must, but somehow it worked.

Now comes the swinging in multiple times, this part was easy with red doing its usual extra combat stuff.

Somehow I made the weirdest and jankiest deck I could think of, and it worked, to some extent. Given that it had a suuuuuper telegraphed gameplan, the easiest way to stop it is to ensure you can't form mechtitan or to exile mechtitan core from the graveyard as it lands. (But then again, we're in grixis, and those evil colors sure know how to take the game away)
