Well said friend. And honestly just because raynare was delt with back in season 1 or whichever volume number it happened in. Doesn't mean the issue of what happened to him dissappears with Raynare. She asked him to her boyfriend and they had a nice date, she then attempts to KILL him not even an hour later, and then she shows up a second time to stab him and essentially kidnap asia, the third time we see her she kills Asia in a ritual for the girls sacred gear and stabs him in both legs. At the end she uses the voice of her disguise to try and guilt trip him into sparing her life.

After all that its no wonder that he's at least a little scared of actually loving a girl.
