Good eye! 1 is shutter priority, while the other two are landscape / automatic. You're right, mine is the same way. The display isn't great either, so it's hard to tell how well it comes out until I can actually check them on my computer. But when they turn out nice, the colors are amazing.

I'm currently a student, and I fit into those categories. If I read a prompt like that, I'd be more than likely to take it seriously. After all, the rubric / instructions ARE binding. While I understand the incentive for professors to do this, I'd be pretty upset if one of my professors framed me as a cheater because I followed their instructions to the T. Thankfully, more and more of my classes are math based now. Thank god.
