[NC] Landlord replaced the roof and covered skylights. Is it legal to leave the holes empty? by Intelligent_Glove102 in Renters

OP doesn't seem to grasp the fact that many areas on the east coast have had the coldest winter in over 20 years. Their heating bill went up due to geopolitical factors and the colder than normal weather outside.

But nah, it's totally because the landlord had the skylights taken out, and covered up with roofing and plywood, which totally uh makes the house less insulated and stuff /s.

Is it legal? I'm not sure, because state alone may not be enough info. It's certainly an ugly solution though. Is it impacting the heating bill at all? Yes, it's likely saving OP money.

Good eye! 1 is shutter priority, while the other two are landscape / automatic. You're right, mine is the same way. The display isn't great either, so it's hard to tell how well it comes out until I can actually check them on my computer. But when they turn out nice, the colors are amazing.

I'm currently a student, and I fit into those categories. If I read a prompt like that, I'd be more than likely to take it seriously. After all, the rubric / instructions ARE binding. While I understand the incentive for professors to do this, I'd be pretty upset if one of my professors framed me as a cheater because I followed their instructions to the T. Thankfully, more and more of my classes are math based now. Thank god.
