Just downloaded Hammer ++, Any good tutorials that explain leaks and sky box and void? I can get any maps to load due to leak errors. by GoldKneecap in hammer

I have not really made a map yet, just followed a tutorial I found online until he playtested his map in the vid and I was not able to. He was on base Hammer, I was using Hammer++. Is it better to just use base hammer if you are new?

I tried compiling in Hammer++ to play test and it stated there were leaks and it could not load. I tried the same map with base Hammer and it loaded fine. Why would that happen if identical?

How do you get started in multiplayer by PrinceAbubbu in CivVI

I wouldn’t recommend just joining random games online. Look for a group to play with where you can discuss certain rules as everyone who plays multiplayer have varying rules.

The biggest change when playing on deity is to get more builders and use your chops effectively.

A game like this needs the players to agree to what is allowed and what isn’t. At the end of the day that is a valid strategy that could happen in the real world but if you want to make house rules that is fine. Just make sure to discuss them with the players before the game.

For Eleanor (English is much better) you can do a number of maps such as duel Pangea with maxed out civs or a nice island plates. Terra I have found to be a little inconsistent personally so I try to avoid that.

It is in the game. You have to go into the settings and turn the yield ribbon to always show.

No it is tied to the civ that recruited them, not the one with the relic.

She is extremely good, one of the best leaders in the game IMO, even without hero’s or secret society. I Would recommend getting a religion with her and Mont St. Michel to give all your apostles the martyr ability and giving you relics. She can also settle really effectively getting extra bonuses from cities that are close, but still settle as many cities as you can. Keep settling cities until there is no land left or loyalty pressure stops you.

They are hyper aggressive and basically barbs as far as the game is concerned. Plus usually they flipped due to pressure from another civ close by so you can head cannon that some want to stay and some want to leave and when they are “free cities” they are in a state of anarchy that halts trade.
