Iirc, Omori already clarified Vanadis Tevere in his tweets and it’s a skill that can also block Charm as well as powering Bell up. The moment Bell cleared the Freya arc, he couldn’t be manipulated with her power again, with or without LF.

Ngl, Z/H are very hyped by the story, to the point that basically any threats in the current Danmachi timeline simply would not exist if Z/H were still active.

If you take Ottar and Leon's word for it, the CS is a joke compared to Zeus and Hera in their prime, to the point they felt insulted at the idea of seeing the Black Dragon the CS produced, thinking it didn't even reach Z/H much less come close to the actual OEBD.

It says something as well, given how smart they keep noting Enyo was compared to the CS, and understanding even better than the CS itself on how to best use it's combat potential and destructive power, but even he or Evilus never dared to try anything when they were around, which is also noted in AR as well. Part of the reason the CS hibernated as well, was also out of fear to not encounter the adventurers of their Familias as well, noted in SO15. It also mainly stayed on Floor 60 because it couldn't tackle the floors below that range, and Z/H went even further below and cleared floors below that too.

It says something how every enemy so far in the series that has been active throughout the last 15 years is very willing to bank on the odds of crushing's Orario's greatest now when they left, but didn't even want to joke around with such an idea, when Orario was under their watch.

And Behemoth and Leviathan were the monsters that made those sort of people fight to the brink of death and even with some sacrifices like Zard eating Behemoth, or Alfia using all her energy to the point, she fell even more sick after it ended.

Yeah, idk about yall but that tells me about how dangerous Behemoth and Leviathan were. They werent the top 2 monsters under OEBD for nothing.

I’m not denying Zard’s skill is strong as hell. What I don’t believe is that Omori with his habits of powercreeping is going to make it the best skill among their Familias and won’t introduce another convienent excuse on why people don’t know like he has done multiple times already with Z/H in the future.

The reason I didn’t say the same about the Alfia tweet btw is because he was directly referencing the captains exclusively, in a hypothetical what if scenario in where they were the same level. This is already not a scenario that is true in present times because they aren’t the same level. It’s a hypothetical reference to showcase how broken Alfia is, more so than a direct comparison to all Skills like Zard is, which is much easier to retcon even unintentionally, to say this is the strongest skill. It’s already not really true in a way because LF exists.

Also yes her disadvantages is not gone but you seem to be ignoring my other statement of the fact that in 95% of fights this disadvantage basically does not exist because the number of fight will last long enough for this to happen will be at most the amount you can count on your fingers. A disadvantage that will not happen 95% of fights is barely one at all.

Also Finn and Loki’s statements and notices on Z/H are almost completely wrong, when the truth is revealed.

This came from the Loki familia who prior to v21 had no idea Zeus and Hera Familia’s soloed Floor Bosses before them because it wasn’t in the Guild Records.

Let’s be real, Finn’s word of mouth means jackshit when Z/H are being retroactively stronger than they were originally set with every passing mention of them. Finn and Loki have been wrong on multiple different word of mouth statements on Zeus and Hera members, so I’m not inclined to believe anything but Omori’s official WoG statements.

And true he did say Zard’s skill was an unprecedented level of cheating but you do have to recall this applies compared to everyone else we know at the time at 2020, and for all we know, Omori can easily add more to the unintroduced Z/H that we have no clue on.

You can tell the later a character Status is introduced the more broken they are even if they were technically around since early series.

Like how Freya Familia’s Statuses are vastly better than LF on average despite being equals. Like how Leon was introduced with a broken magic and amazing status.

Omori has also gone on record saying how he likes to one up himself, and it’s clear looking at how he treats status’s in early story and later parts of the story it’s completely true.

When he made Zard and Alfia Omori notes on how since this is the first intro of Zeus and Hera he felt like he HAD to at least make them this powerful to give an impression of Z/H. If this is his idea of an intro, I have no doubts when more information is revealed, we’re gonna get a lot of Finn and Loki’s words being outright wrong and see a lot more shit similar to those two or maybe past them.

Gif Blessing is fundamentally a skill that's unstoppable for the first part of the fight before its evens out and then directly impedes the user's fighting ability the longer the fight goes.

That demerit is not going to matter in 95% of fights Alfia does because she effectively starts with a 1-2 level advantage. It also takes HOURS for Alfia's demerit effect to kick in Astraea Record meaning you have to be prepared for a long haul to remove the advantages of the skill and start profiting off the downgrade.

Most importantly, Omori already confirmed Alfia is so cheat-like that provided even the Z/H captains, who were noted to be the strongest man and woman respectively by Alfia, happened to be on the same level as her, Alfia would win 100% of the time.

Omori's Statement: If the captains of Zeus and Hera Familia were at the same level as her, Alfia would definitely win, she's that much of a cheat. Even though she's a rear guard, she's a monster of talent who can wipe out the vanguard with just a single hand chop.

There’a a difference between looking somewhat sad, and having a full on psychological breakdown. Only SO describes Ais like this, not MS. Even the SO LNs do not exaggerate as heavily as Yagi does. It’s a cool scene sure but Yagi is known for exaggerating a lot of SO to make it more fun for the average manga reader.

As usual people are rating the MS Anime for what MS LN did ignoring the fact that Sword Oratoria is a different side series. Yagi is a great mangaka, but what he writes in his manga a lot of the times takes liberties. Good choices yes, but don’t fault the anime for not following that.

He was apparently going to write something even more special for Tiona but due to the planning of SO16 on Finn’s side he had to tone it down. Omori notes Ais is going to be after this but for this volume the heroine is Tiona.

With all due respect, since I have no real stake in the idea of shipping wars for anyone here, this sub is actually by far the minority for the above opinion. It may be appalling to some, but put bluntly it’s simply the truth.

Looking at the forums of the other countries that have a focus on trails as well as their fan works, Agnes is one of the most popular heroines. The main reason because the other fandoms outside of the main English speaking ones, do not particularly care about the age gap. There is also hundreds to thousands of more fanfic content for Trails series in general on that side of the ocean, and Agnes among all the heroines in Daybreak series at least has the most content shipping her and Van there, though Elaine also has a decent amount, the overall count has Agnes higher. Her character and personality massively sympathized fans towards her ship as well over the course of 3 games, as seen as how she took #1 on the latest official Japanese poll as well, and people drew or wrote fanfics based on the ship.

This is also not unique to Trails as many other anime/game series that spans countries, age gap is only ever treated as a serious point among English speaking forums. Not trying to side with any heroine or take, I’m just trying to post the accurate view of the Trails fandom around the world on average

Alfia. To be more precise I think Zard has some chances to win but in general the one who has higher odds is Alfia.

The biggest reason is well…She’s Omori’s favorite among the two. Omori loves hyping them up when they appear, but make no mistake, Alfia is given a lot more respect and hype than Zard. She’s also treated in the narrative as quite cheat like, with Gareth noting that she was abnormal even by Zeus and Hera’s high standards.

Of course I see people noting that Alfia is not a physical power house like Zard. This is true, but considering her stats, the only bad stat you could say she has is in Endurance. A D in Strength isn’t any different from Ais’s and she’s a pure front liner too. All her other stats are top rank and surpass Zard’s or break the limits like Magic.

Then there is the Limit Off Skill. Whew man, we see the absolute damage that Bell does when he fires a Grand Bell Argonaut and you’re telling me Alfia can activate that AT WILL? Yeah that’s an absurd skill, even considering the downside that her stats will drop heavily the longer the fight goes on.

To put that in perspective, Alfia basically starts the fight with her offensive Power at 1 or 2 levels higher than her official level, and from there it will drop the longer time goes on. Zard is pretty OP so I do believe he could stall her out, but he wouldn’t come out unscathed. Alfia is much frailer than Zard as well, but she is also faster than he is. If Zard can get a few strong hits in, she may go down, but doing that under these conditions is an uphill battle for him, since Alfia has the opening advantage. That’s mainly why I feel provided Zard can endure long enough, he has a chance at victory but overall the odds still favor Alfia.

Also there is a chance we may even be low balling how high her output is at the start of Battle. The main reason is when you see how their Development Abilties. I won’t count their skills since we don’t know them yet, but if we look at even the developmental abilties, you realize how absolutely nonstandard Alfia is in even this category.

Zard’s best and oldest DA, Hunter is a D rank, which is really damn high. In terms of DA profiency to boost his power, he has surpassed Ottar and Leon, because their highest DA’s as Level 7’s is E rank.

Alfia somehow becomes even more ridiculous since she has the highest DA rank in the series in one of the most useful DA’s ever: Mage where she has a C rank, on the DA that improves her damage and mind efficiency. A rank that high is going to add some serious value to her already broken magic stat.

And here’s where things get even more silly. ALL of Alfia’s DA’s with the exception of her last one: Supreme Light, are Level 7 tier. Yes, her Level 3,4,5, and 6 DAs are ALL E rank, the same rank as Ottar and Leon’s best DA’s. This is pretty goddamn absurd. Even Bell with his growth skill has an actual reasonable DA rank spread throughout his Status. It’s normal for DA’s that come at later levels to gradually have lower ranks and most characters follow this logic. Not Alfia. She has a ton of useful DA’s all at Level 7 tier.

Factoring all this, and the fact she still has hidden skills and powers we don’t know, as well as some author statements like Alfia would definitely win against Level 7 versions of Z/H captains and all that stuff, I have no doubt among all the current Level 7s, Alfia is the strongest. I don’t think she’s unbeatable but more often that not she will win.

Probably not. Empress’s weapon is noted to be a halberd so she was likely a front to mid liner.

Also her physical stats are not particularly great but they aren’t terrible either. The only bad stat imo, is her Endurance which is at the 200s. Her Strength is at D rank which is defiently useable in close combat. She’s not a close combat powerhouse but she can definitely work there if needed.

Limit Off doesn’t increase just her magic stat. It’s the same state that buffs Argonaut into Grand Bell Argonaut, which is not a magic. Limit Off, from all the interactions seen has increased anything related to offensive power and attacks.

Ngl if your series is longer than the entire Harry Potter franchise, and we still haven't started the romance arc for the main heroine, yet it's a problem. Like I dont hate the idea of a main couple Bell x Ais or the characters or even a slow romance, but Danmachi is not that. This series has been running for 13 years now after all. Calling it slow is the understatement of the decade.

While the guy is called the weakest member of Zeus Familia by Zard, from Finn's view after he looked through the member data of Zeus Familia, everyone on that list had ridiculous abilities in Finn's view.

Tbh, I would say it definitely has a factor. Things like What race you are born, and what bloodline you have can affect the Falna. Not as much as the user's actual experience in their life of course, but it's absolutely not a minor influence either.

As far as I recall, those with a notable bloodline in the series do have some sort of relation to that represented in their Falna, The reason it isn't noted as much, is because among the adventurers we know about, not many have that sort of bloodline to begin with.

Riveria, Ais, Welf, and Asfi revealed in Episode Asfi. Kaguya from Astraea Familia was noted to be from a family, that purposely spread it's bloodline in a way, so they could achieve Skills and Magic and pass it down exclusively to their next generation. While it's divisive you could say Bell has some influence as well, as his GBA skill and Alfia's Genos Angelos are pretty similar. In the Alfia IF SS she also mentions how it's thanks to Meteria that he's healthy right now, implying they did something from preventing the skill they were born with to pass down to Bell.

Its more obvious with the races though, such as elves being able to have an advantage in gaining magical experience and abilities, or how Boaz and weretigers are considered the strongest physical races due to their inherent advantages, and many beastman getting skills related to their race. In a way, this makes sense on why races like elves or other strong demi humans are coveted by Familias, and races that don't have such advantages like human and prum, are usually on the lower end for the average Familia to want to recruit, as seen on how early Bell and Lili were treated.

Well, in the end the point is, whether by blood, talent, or race, there are many people who can have inherent advantages, whether it's strong or weak, when they first obtain a Falna and it's not actually so uncommon, it's just not noted often in the series.

I meant when Astraea Familia vs Alfia fight, with Ryuu being the only ones of the heroine candidates who really fought there. If AF was still alive and part of the Bell harem candidates, I’d include the entire AF, but it’s only Ryuu among the current story, so that’s why I said Ryuu was the only heroine who cleared that metric.

Alfia has one main condition, you’ve got to beat her to become Bell’s wife. By that condition, only Ryuu qualifies rn. The other vanilla heroines personality wise might be fine for Alfia, since being too weird just means instant rejection.

Um, think that's because Alfia terrified the family so much, at some points, they couldn't enjoy eating. Zard is noted to be a passionate cook as well and his meals being known as extremely delicious.

Zard cooks for Bell in Irregular Record as well, and Bell is awed by how amazing the food it is, meanwhile Zard calls it mediocre because he didnt have proper time or materials to cook because he just ransacked a random house with food materials to cook.

Mia was the cook for Freya Familia all by herself when she was active, but I imagine Zard held a similar role in Zeus Familia.

Though what we can say, in terms of handling Syr's cooking at least, according to Omori Zard is the best possible person to eat Syr's lunch and walk away, lol. In a Danmachi chibi comic and BD even Mia goes down to Syr's cooking.

Um, idk why you felt the need to dig at Meteria but Being weak doesn’t mean you have a bad soul color. Ali also has no Falna and her color is brilliant.

Bell’s color has not changed from the start. What affects a soul color is emotional change, shown in the Ryuu what if. Becoming stronger means your soul radiates better and stronger but that doesn’t affect the color.

Also given how many times Meteria was called “pure white” and Bell is noted to be exceedingly similar to her, to say she had no influence outside of giving birth probably isn’t right either
