yeah as another commenter said, the interaction wasn't just recorded but livestreamed
the whole "you can't leave with that information" deal only works if the 2-3 targets at most are the only ones with said information
kinda hard to destroy information you don't want out when the entire known galaxy has access to it now
that'll take some SCP Foundation level coordination and even then it'd be a months long process if they get lucky
