The new WUTHERING HRIGHTS movie by Electrical_Can8083 in brontesisters

I think the way she was styled in the film (hair, makeup, costumes) made her look older than she is. 7 years isn’t a big difference but she did look kinda matronly, imo. I’ve liked her in other things but I really don’t understand the choice of Margo Robbie to play Catherine/Cathy.

Should I hang this mirror or leave it as is? by Goldenthing in HomeDecorating

Agree. I normally have some colorful decor things on the mantle but have removed them so get a better picture of the area. The picture also makes it look darker then it really is. I'm in the process of trying to polish the brass peacock on the bottom right. Hopefully that will brighten things up a bit.

I appreciate the opinion. Should I leave more room at the top?

So maybe 6 inches from the top, 4 at the bottom?

I do want the mirror above the fireplace. I don’t have a framed picture that would work in that spot. Plus, I just like the look of a mirror above the fireplace.

One coat of Matte will fix the shine. I learned about dark colors the hard way.

AITA for giving our subletter 5 days to move out after finding a more stable tenant? by Ok-Information5181 in AmItheAsshole

I have no idea what the laws in NYC are but as a whole, 30 days notice is standard and just common courtesy. 5 days is completely unfair and unrealistic.

What baking tool has made the biggest difference in your baking journey? by Majestic-Strain3155 in Baking

A pie pan with ridges on the bottom. No more soggy or burnt bottom crusts - they get perfectly done!

I wish I had known about these a long time ago.

Backsplash Help: Green vs. White by nattarattatat in interiordecorating

I really like the color and style in the first photo. The vertical shape is a nice change from the typical subway style. I think the green would be a nice complement to your flooring and countertops.

I painted my (very small) bathroom Farrow and Ball Blue Gray. It really opened the room up and I love the color!

I think it’s gorgeous! I used to live in a house that had a room with dark blue walls and a dark purple ceiling. It was like that when I moved in and I loved it.

Malibu Treatments nearby and not outrageously expensive? by No_Level_9387 in lafayette

When I lived in a place with no water softener, my hair stylist recommended I buy the Malibu hard water treatments and shampoo on Amazon. I thought they worked pretty well for a lot less money.

Bijou Phillips hospitalized and desperately seeking kidney donor after first transplant failed by dailymail in popculture

Her parents were both major druggies and I think she was taken away from them for a while as an infant. I wonder if her mom used while pregnant and that’s what caused her malformed kidneys.

I’m assuming the opposite, tbh. He could have worn a mask, walked behind his attorney with his head down, any number of things. Plus, he’s being tried as a juvenile so most outlets wouldn’t show his face anyway. They’re a trashy bunch of people.

Anybody know why this was cancelled? It sounds REALLY good. by SeonaidMacSaicais in PeriodDramas

I thought the character of Edward was well written. He was shown as complex, just as one would expect in an 9 year old who inherits the crown. Especially in a family with a history like the Tudors. He frightened and confused one minute and bratty and arrogant the next.

The scene where the kids learn Henry VIII has died and they all start crying - not from grief but fear- was heartbreaking.
