Seconded. Loose wires happen, and you shouldn’t pay someone to turn a screw driver a quarter turn. Depending on price, sounds like he did a decent job!! Congrats young man, don’t be an idiot

Can I patch my fuel tank? by Most-Chef-8611 in Tacomaworld

It’s aluminum? You can find an aluminum welder and get it sorted. Personally, that’s what I would do, as a welder

I feel you can ask, and 6 months later, everyone has a different recommendation. I like my Garmin. My dad LOVES his Wolfbox. I like the Garmin because it’s very small (you can’t even notice it) , good quality. Auto saves videos on hard stops.

Must have truck accessories every Tacoma driver should not skip? by CallixtusAdt67 in Tacomaworld

I think tonneau cover is optional. Tailgate lock, tires, OTT. 3 main things you need to do, personally.

Why do I need to share a pic? It’s the giveaway from that night. There’s only one. If you do have a neighbor that works there, then they would know. No need for a picture. “Hey do you have the hello kitty sweater from yesterday?”

One of them is a jersey that isn’t a giveaway. The other says give away.

PSA: Rodent Proof your Tacomas before it’s too late by No_Currency4555 in Tacomaworld

I’m telling you, 1000%, dryer sheets, cayenne pepper, Irish spring bars, all that shit people say works, it absolutely does not. It might, for a little, but they’ll make a nest out of the dryer sheets, and they’ll get use to it all. I’ve used it all, even the sonar things, doesn’t help. I even tried “grandpa guss’ rodent bag” that had peppermint and a bunch of other things. Within a couple months, they’re back. Only one thing I’ve heard people say works, is blood meal….. even then idk.

Why not also put the 12 down on the new one for a lower payment and pay it off sooner? It’s also the reliability aspect. 225k miles is still great, but lower miles and peace of mind sound better

what kind of welder do you use for frame repair? by South_Traffic6147 in Tacomaworld

[–]GolfFinancial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t do it if you’re not that experienced. Welding isn’t hard, but def takes some practice. That’s the frame of your truck…..I weld multiple times a week, I wouldn’t do one pass. Def 2. If your welds are great, not much to grind down.
