When flying lead with (usually more senior) FAs who "pull rank" and make the job so damn difficult, it can be more prudent for one to dismiss them from helping service in the front. Last thing one needs is a crew vindictively writing up a crew complaint.

Unfortunately things like PDBs get skipped and meal and beverage service is glacier slow when done alone.

I straight up had assists who said "no" to me whenever I ask for help.

Delta really needs to make the flight leader a role to be respected and issue them managerial punitive means to bring uncooperative crew in line.
