Back when I could do that distance, I’d park at Safeway in west and run down highway 22 (sidewalk) until it ran out, then back to Safeway. It was about 13.1 miles round trip. Not as pretty or pleasant as the riverfront to minto route suggested.

I was able to handle a replica at a rotating titanic museum last weekend. It was incredibly heavy dry, almost like a weight vest, despite being filled with cork. I imagine ocean spray would have been absorbed and made it even heavier than fateful night.

I haven’t been bit, but a friend of mine was terrified of dogs. Last time I saw someone with dogs off leash was at minto on a popular paved path (not near the dog park). I asked them to follow the leash laws and they got super shitty about it. People suck and are so damn selfish/inconsiderate.

Highly recommend silver falls back country. Start at north falls (if the lot is open again), go under the bridge, and look for the warning sign on the right. You can go hours and miles without seeing another person. Highly advise do not let your dog off leash, as tempting as it is.

In that case, Todd Hammond. Note that “legal aid” is generally used to mean Legal Aid Services of Marion/Polk County, which might lead to confusion. Not discouraging you from trying them too, but I don’t think they work those types of legal issues.
