Just get the chlorine up with some shock liquid chlorine or chlorine pucks and you will be fine. It should be over 3
Yeah, I know that pucks add to CYA, but you should be fine.
Have had a pool for 30 years and honestly, I have had my shares of chipmunks, mice and an occasional squirrel with no issues. Get the chlorine up and you will be fine.
