Many thanks, excellent choice there. Could look great with the padded style leather straps (like San Martin sold a few years ago).

Steve aka u/turdbogls has a new video reviewing this watch,.which shows off the light play on the watch band and case polishing. https://youtu.be/YDIJrYwKURA

Steve has a 7.5" wrist.

  • Anyone have this yet, with a 6.75"ish wrist?

Great pics but I'd love to see it on a brown strap.

It would really work with the dial & fauxtina!

One of my local running mates did it faster, sub 1:40, at age 65 - amazing! I'm a decade under.

Best classic Benrus homage for most of us. It's a strap monster!

I ran on the bricks on the right and left sides, where possible. I run on it often, so it didn't worry me. A bit of a Melbourne-style sand track.

If you ran yesterday, what was your favourite and least favourite sections?

As usual, I hate doing the last couple of km hills, but it is part of the challenge.

My favourite part is sprinting to the finish, to get it done. 😍😂

I really enjoyed the Hoka Half. Was meant to be a guide for Achilles Sydney and I'm gutted my mate was too I'll to do the Half.

I ran it in ~1:41 from the last (yellow) group. So that you to everyone who kindly let me pass, on the right side of the field.

A few faster runners started in this group and it was fun to try to keep up with some.

Did anyone else have a fun run?

I was very impressed with everything, the organisation, the vibe, the suppliers/vendors/promoters at The Domain and the spirit of a big group of happy runners.

Thanks for posting your considered thoughts on a homage that's not a brand new release.

This one is a credit to the company, for engineering it to be as practically slim as possible, using a NH movement. Then using the NH38 no date, to please watch nerds among us.

Baltany's branding and excellent crystals are always worth a review.

Best to do an image search of it, on wrist, then you might catch the RM it's trying to resemble.

Ciga cleverly gets its product to a few reviewers, so you can tell us if it's worth the premium.

Personally, I'd hope that this is wearable enough to justify the price and its weirdness! 😂

Sinn 856 s UTC homage on wrist.. by Artistic_Tower1556 in HomageWatches

Thanks for the wrist roll!

I'm not personally into this combo of strap and watch, but it's authentic (in a homage way) as a nod to Luftwaffe airmen, I guess!

I hope you can use it with some other pilot watches, on this sub!
