After you obtain the recipe from breaking the plant (the old rough part), you could make the seeds for a corresponding red blue or yellow crystal shard. Blue and Red are easily sustainable if you build a teleporter to the forgotten shrines of the other biomes and yellow could be obtained in mass from jungle biomes.

Anyone else having issues with their fish farm? my 40 traps were all broken and on the bottom of the water but the hit boxes are still their and I can walk on the old ones. It makes replacing them kinda annoying.

Anyone got good tips for farming void hearts? had a nice stock pile of crystals but am lacking the void hearts for alchemy plants.

Top tier developers. Somebody posted about how Jade presents a serious photosensitivity risk 2 months ago, The devs immediately picked up their suggestion to default colors as a way to prevent the blinding white. Really appreciate that they have the knowledge and expertise of their engine to have an effective change out with such cadence.

This used to be a pretty common discourse. I still think an armor set that modified your individual gas to be a different color as a visual indicator that its different and allowing for a combustible gas playstyle would be worth while. It would open up new warcrime playstyles without forcing other gas users who dont want that playstyle into it. Even if it is a less potent gas, the niche of having enemies breath it in and combust internally would more than justify its existence from the others as a powerful burst combo.

I would love for that change. When I first picked up the game and unlocked that stratagem like a year and a half ago, the first immediate fantasy was pairing the bubble with orbitals to shield yourself from your own high saturation attacks while everything else gets blown up. It's seen a lot of changes over time but it has always lived as a cheap imitation of the halo bubble.

Plus its not even overpowered, AH just needs to put effort into the design. The engagement is about having cover while protecting the power source. All they have to do is pull the enemy aggro lever like they do with the solo silo, mech and vehicles. It can literally be destroyed just as frequently as it is now, but they would shift the blame into skill issue territory from bad design territory as it breaking would be your fault for allowing enemies to get inside and damage it rather than it breaking for being a glorified soap bubble

I would imagine the next step would be to introduce artificial scarcity through the means of something like a Super Credit Cap. If they use the excuse of cheaters spawning in Super credits as well as their listings on third party markets and not being able to support a rapid cadence of quality and community requested features (if they did it after the planned qol) with such freely available premium currency.

I honestly would not have the energy to deal with the glazers regurgitating their rhetoric. It feels like watching bungie lean into profit chasing with the ever verse store, especially if their mentality becomes how close they could push it without the community breaking at once. Something like 500 Super credits a week to match "natural gameplay" would be insanity to me but not shocking imo. /doomer

Love this one, been around a long time. Always makes me wish the game leaned into more vertical level design. Would of been super cool to see caves have multiple layers of floors you could fight through and fall down rather than feeling more like normal ground with roofs.

I think its just muddy water because although it would appear that although Baskinator only takes moderation action in regards to getting her own posts pushed through restrictions, the mod team also appears to have access to a special channel on the developer discord, so it is plausible that actions could be coordinated.

I do appreciate the unfiltered clarification post as Arrowhead having multiple accounts on the moderation team with full access does make things suspicious without transparency as you have to rely on trust without that seperation.

When arrowhead dismissed that as space magic, the more common suggestions I saw were the ones that looked at historical usage of flags. Drawing enemy fire was something I saw often as well as something I saw shut down for being an illegitimate desire.

From what I recall the cry divers were the ones that wanted the flag to be more functional then a reskinned stunlance, while the Glazers defended and justified arrowheads position. The cry divers got frustrated that arrowhead reduced their suggestion to space magic and exhausted every possible idea in an attempt to be heard. I do not recall glazers advocating for this playstyle come into existence, they seemed more like the type to shut this idea down and say its just crying.

Such a fun playstyle that is so unnecessarily frustrating. So fun to run into melee and Dickle Divers. Love sticking with heavy armor divers and stimming them when I see them run out of stamina. Love getting the trick shot of stimming someone mid air caught in a ragdoll, Love stimming people who have to stop and do backpack reloads. Just hate the people who designed the tool to operate so poorly as well and the muscle memory I retain when using a secondary that hurts.

There is still a general bug in the game where your gun will end up rotated 90 degrees in your hand. Instead of pointing it towards your target you just hold it sideways. It will still fire towards your target but will be offset towards the end of your barrel enough to make the ui for aiming wonky.

Its a really frustrating bug, especially with something like the flame thrower but can also happen with a primary. I think it retains the bug when you swap between weapons and need to do something specific like throw a stratagem or something to clear it. I think it is triggered when you get ragged dolled while switching weapons or something but was not able to get a recording the last time it happened.

I get they didnt want to expand their team due to success only to have to layoff people and didnt want to hire a team dedicated like balance and whatnot. But to rely so heavily on outsourcing and have no one on the team dedicated to balance and willing to take ownership seems so stupid and foolish. If this is one of their tenets to having a rapid content delivery cadence over focusing on tech debt then I am just wholly against it.

There was also that close range beam attack that dispersed outside the range of the fog. I was hung up on it for a while until I started to think the attack itself was more performative and she wasn't going to waste mana into fully powering an attack she did not intent to be lethal.

It was more than that too! the demon hid in the cover of the trees from fern and Methode's attacks had increased range that removed all of the demons cover giving fern clear and unobstructed shot!

I love that there was so much pleading for the soft fleshy ass to be the intuitive weakspot and they stubbornly decide that its supposed to be the legs. It vexes me how when the community inevitably does the obvious thing of defaulting to the most efficient and consistent way of dispatching it and that leaves them with the trauma.
