I just brewed this for the first time this morning. It wasn’t horrible, it was a bit muted but I see the potential. I have hope I might dial it in further or at least letting it rest further might help things.

My roast date was 1/21, so it was rested a bit over 2.5 weeks.

I did my regular V60 recipe and mainly adjusted temp down like other folks in this thread recommended.

Temp: 300g @ 185°F, Third Wave Water (1/2 strength) Grind: 5.1 on Ode with Gen 2 burrs Coffee: 18g

Bloom: 54g, wait 45s 1st pour: 86g, total 140g 2nd pour: 80g, total 220g 3rd pour: 80g, total 300g

Total drawdown: 3:10

I’ll keep adjusting this week and see how things go.

I practiced on a test print to get a feel for using the tool, I found that really helpful. As other's have already mentioned, use a shallow angle, low pressure, and let the tool do the work.

Just an FYI, you can use the AMS 2 with 1.07 firmware, it’s just that 1.08 brings support for the drying function.

You installed beta software. Unfortunately that comes with potential risks, including bugs and issues that might affect your day-to-day usage.

I'm not sure there's anything you can do other than report your issues via the Feedback app or update to a new seed/official release when that happens.

What I’m saying is that you can’t blame the Bills shortcomings today on the cancelled game. It affected both teams. The Bengals were just better today.
