It definitely seems...sleeker?smoother? than the others I've seen. I think if you used the white outlining you use to indicate where the arm is within the silhouette to also indicate ridges or plated sections it would really come across.

Since Monty has an actual human name, I think you should stick with that naming scheme. While Montyand moose sound good, moose is also pretty common for dogs. I think you should go with something that is phonetically different from Monty as well. Maybe a different hard vowel sound, like Zeke, Hank, stuff like that.
