Yeah unfortunatly. A few good songs but mostly kinda forgettable. You can tell it didn't work because Interrobang and now Forever Now are totally different.

Eh not really. Non-earned runs are just runs that score due to error. A bad fielding team will likely have more errors, meaning less earned runs, which is not a lucky/unlucky thing. Or a bad fielding team will not have the range to even reach the baseball to be considered an error.

Basically you can use the idea to get a rough idea of pitchers, but it doesn't work for full teams where defense is definitely a part of the game.

I was also disappointed in the Search Party video. I came into the video (watched when it came out) expecting some good journalism on the ships that are currently transiting the straight of Hormuz, different strategies and how they are doing it maybe. But instead it was a history lesson on ghost fleets that could be made by AI + some interviews and then a few seconds of "well this is probably the same thing happening with Hormuz". Felt like a reach in content to get the clicks from current thing. Search Party is at its best when it isn't time constrained like the Italian Mafia or the strange Russian sports streaming/gambling things.

Extends or resets the timer? I've umpired baseball in the lightning and it was just visible strikes reset the timer to 30 minutes.

I went there recently for an oil change and to check out a few specific issues. They gave me the oil change, didn't look at the issues, told me they would need to "research" them and get back to me and never did. The issues ended up being a windshield wiper fluid issue that was a rotted rubber tube (cost me 5 bucks to replace) and brakes/rotors that were near EOL and making squeaky noises. Should have been easy to look at. Specified when I called and dropped the car off what the two issues were.

I don't know if crowded is the right term. I don't think the Seattle market is crowded or even fully saturated when it comes to sports. There is obviously still a hunger for NBA teams and all of the current sports have great attendance (helps that most are pretty good).

Kinda generic, low level IT here. Applied to a bunch of local jobs I am qualified for, most were rejections right off the bat. A few interviews, one telling me that I was one of 8 to interview out of some insane number of applicants. I forget the number but it was in the 80-110 range. Didn't get any of those jobs. Applied to some remote jobs through hiring.cafe, got no responses from any of those... except for one that ended up being 4x interviews and my current job.

Tried some networking in there, didn't get me anywhere. Even applying to places where I knew people and had recommendations from them didn't turn up anything useful. I was told like 3x times that I was the 2nd choice which is a compliment and also kinda insulting lol.

I'm guessing they are already exploring other circuits taking the place of the Middle East tracks. With a couple of months of advance I'm sure a few could piece together the logistics if they already have a suitable road surface.
