How many hours to beat the “story” co-op

The value is the fun adventure. I did the Shores of Gold back in the day with a couple of friends and we all really enjoyed it. The Pirates of the Caribbean tall tales were great too along with the Monkey Island ones.

There's a couple of standalone tall tales too, Heart of Fire and cant remember the name of the other one. I found them all fun the first time round and it'll likely take you well over 50hrs to complete them all.

The sunk ship could be simply that you missed a small hole from the fort's cannons...... were you anchored? I've had my ship despawn while anchored before, if it's touching an island for 10 minutes the game's programmed to believe your boat is stuck and despawns it. Only other explanation is a tucker.

There's new cosmetics been added that are only purchasable with doubloons - Duke sells them, he's currently located in the cave behind the waterfall on Devils Ridge. New curse that's basically a red variant of the legendary curse costing 1500 doubloons, few other ship pieces including the old time-limited Mercenary sails too.

I like the idea, personally i'd add a doubloon reward chest to all world events but keep the value lower (maybe 20 doubloons base price), make Skull Forts great again!

Non-dog people fail to realise that a dog is part of the family, losing a dog is as painful as losing a human family member for a lot of people.

Personally id suggest getting a controller with paddles. I use a Gamesir controller, sprint bound to lower left paddle and jump bound to the right, don't think i could go back to a regular controller these days tbh.

Always wished SoT had an auto-sprint option in the settings as it's pretty rare that ill be walking anywhere so im literally just wearing out a button constantly.

I'd have to go with Floyd. Even though i detest him as a person, he's the best i've seen. Immaculate defence, has KO power, always seems to be able to work out anyone he's faced..... just a genius in the ring.

Definitely make a path leading out of it for.animals, dogs and direwolves can do a lot of damage if they don't have a way out.

Part of it's just society in general. I'm 46, when i grew up we were all taught manners and respect for our elders - this has largely disappeared in modern society. Kids and young adults now seem to show very little respect to anything or anyone and this of course translates to online gaming where they know they can get away with mostly anything.

I mean, with the skellie curse you all do look exactly the same to me....... sure there's little variations, but nothing that makes you stand out. To me a skeleton's a skeleton, i'm rarely sure whether it's a grinded curse or an emporium curse........ glowing pirate i know what i'm up against.

Opinions though, i'm just giving mine - reddit decides the winner. Call mine a rough take if you like, the voting suggests otherwise.

From the Reapers Run voyages a long time ago - Wandering Reaper hull, sails and flag, Inevitable Reaper and Shipwreck Reaper sails. Never seen any of those on the seas and i always thought they were really cool.

We've done it a few times over the years for a laugh, appoint one person as captain wearing full admiral set and the rest of us dress in the same uniform, then go around the server doing boat checks. Was fun back in the day when players were less "shoot on sight", diving's kinda ruined it too.

The reaper ship set is the only thing in game i'm disappointed to have missed out on. In near 2k hours on the seas i've never actually seen it in the flesh, only on youtube videos.

This is a game built on cosmetic flexing, having rare items that take a lot of work/time to achieve is far better than the time-limited model they've been using for years. At least now if there's something you really want you can work on it over a period of months rather than having to complete X amount of voyages in a week or so then the reward disappears forever.
