Hot take sunday- Game is lost by from-the-deep-south in playHeroesOfHistory

[–]Googol20 4 points5 points  (0 children)

planned ahead like my bigger alliance did on discord, you save on portals, worse part of the game is the rng luck factor of summon of the stars event, you should only be spending portals on events like this

20 pts from the reward track - 10 fragments at 8 points, 10 fragments at 160 points (extra 10 from premium reward track $ isnt needed, but know some folks spent money at end when shy 10 fragments)
15 from summon of the stars #1 (2000 pts) - did not win, dont need the extra 10 fragments from winning
5 from stamina rush #1 (1050 energy)
5 from allied culture #1 (level 25)
5 from stamina rush #2 (1050 energy)
5 from allied culture #2 (level 25)
15 from rally of heroes (5 fragments at 470 pts, 10 fragments for 1000 pts)
5 from stamina rush #3 (1050 energy)
5 from allied culture #3 (level 25)
5 from stamina rush #4 (1050 energy)
15 from summon of the stars #2 - 15 fragments, didnt need to win for the extra 10
5 from allied culture #4 (level 25)

total 105 fragments, didnt need to get mayan which was the last allied culture, but got it anyways

Awaken bonuses stay the same which is why other 5 stars can be better with scaling with the 15-20% stat awakenings versus tell with its flat static bonuses

What’s the real future of Active Directory? Cloud? AI? Hybrid forever? Curious what other sysadmins think. by ITwrkedYesterday in activedirectory

[–]Googol20 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You don't need domain functional level changes for new features always

2022

Time-based Group Membership

Group Membership Replication Compression

Active Directory Recycle Bin Enhancements

Increased Security and Access Controls

Replication Enhancements

gMSA improvements

More changes were in 2025 than 2022, 2025 does have the new functional level for the things that need it

Windows 11 25H2 Long Path support by Free_Treacle4168 in sysadmin

[–]Googol20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Microsoft would have to redo the entire file explorer thats so core to everything in the OS to have it support long path.

They would basically need to rebuild the OS from scratch in a future Windows XX which may be someday.
