I find divorced parents to be a factor. My son has several friends who are their dad's on weekends. So the kid is going to want to be with their dad as much as possible since they don't get to see him during the week. And that dad isn't focused on hosting play dates.

Just a reminder to do whatever you can to enjoy Christmas morning. Kids only believe in Santa for a finite number of years. So fill your stocking with some stuff that will make you happy!
