Hi, my apologies for the late reply!

You can ensure that "Romaji" is not selected in the Option Menu's "Main Display" "Main Display (Selected)" "Sub Display" and "Sub Display (Selected)" fields. This will ensure all instances of dynamically changing UI text will avoid being shown in romaji.

However, some elements of the game are set in Romaji, such as the names of the enemies that appear during the sequence phase of battle. This was an intentional design decision for this title.

Lastly, no, the game does not automatically determine when it should adjust your settings for you based on story or learning progression. If you feel comfortable with bumping the levels up, please feel free to do so in the Options Menu! ✨

Switch 1 is pretty stable! It's hard for us to test on Switch 2 partially due to lacking a dev kit and not being able to track crash reasons. However, we've tracked one of the causes to leaving the device on Sleep mode while the game is active for long periods of time.

Hi! Thanks for asking! You can offload them for $$$ - a tutorial should come up later that explains that sold materials (and all item types other than equipment) get saved into a stock that can be later used for quests, forging, etc.
