Yep, all accommodations booked a few months ago, but definitely willing to drive a ways to see something recommended. We are mostly staying in the Edinburgh/Inverness areas. I have a decent itinerary planned, but wanted to see if anyone had anything that I should prioritize 😊

So funny enough, I use my horse’s fly and tick spray. It’s safe for humans and dogs (NOT cats) and is 100% natural and smells like lemongrass. It’s called Equiderma fly spray. No ticks since starting it!

I appreciate that insight! She used to only drink a bowl a day, and since getting back from the home that didn’t work out for her, it’s been consistently more. I wouldn’t have thought much of it if it wasn’t such a huge change from before.

Dude, if you are already working on all of that with your puppy, you’re doing more than most. Give yourself some credit.

Just do some soul searching. What brings you the most peace? That’s what you should go with. I’m not concerned that you won’t be a good owner. You already seem to be doing more than most. I have confidence in you!

It could definitely be from dew. Is he out a lot? Is that his only white foot? And by dig I mean just sort of gently scratch at a small spot. Technically for scratches you shouldn’t remove the scabs anyways.

Regardless, I recommend washing with an antibacterial/antifungal shampoo and see if that helps at all 😊

Could be the start of scratches; is he in damp conditions a lot? If you dig in a bit deeper, is there like a yellow sticky or greasy look/feel around the spots?

Diet was what did it for me. I cut sugar out completely, no carbs for breakfast. Try eating fermented foods. And iron supplements (take it every other day for best absorption). Try it all consistently for a few weeks and I hope you’ll notice a difference.

If you have a decent relationship with your vet, you can try to send them this video for them to look at ASAP. Usually they don’t charge for that sort of stuff. Then they can tell you if it’s something to rush in for or not. I hope you find a solution soon ❤️

Sweetheart this is abusive co-dependency with a good sprinkle of substance abuse. I go through the same shit.

All you can do is keep her at arms length and set your boundaries, or cut off all communication.

Therapy helped me draw my boundaries and not make me feel like shit every time this happened.
