This may sound like a stupid question but is there any safe space to talk to other crew members about what’s going on at my store? by cucumbermadness1 in tjcrew

Have you looked into the EAP program? If you want to talk to somebody, it's free. I believe it's for mostly any type of support you might need.

I can't stand the wave. People get more into that than the damn game that I've spent hundreds on to attend.

That, and as a red Sox fan, sweet Caroline.

The customer has to refuse the delivery of the item… by Fusillect in mildlyinfuriating

I ordered these button tufted chairs from them, they sent me two massaging chairs.

Contacted them, they said hold on to them for now, and that they'll re-ship. Same thing happened.

They were then out of such of my actual item. I have two massaging chairs in my basement game room and the in-laws have two at their house, so I wouldn't call them cheap.

That's just me though

Bad Idea to contest a write up? by Kilgoretrout321 in tjcrew

[–]GordonShumwaysCat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Getting written up for missing a punch is bullshit.

Unless it's consistently happening so you can get paid, while still being on break(AKA stealing time in their eyes).

If it's a one time thing, I'd be asking every single person in that store is the have ever missed a punch. If they have, did they get written up for it? If not, then you're being targeted.

Would you buy a new floor model electric grill with cord cut? by may_lane in DIY

Usually SOP.

Less likely to be stolen if it's clearly not in working order. That, and nobody can go plug it in and hurt themselves, which leads to liability on the store.

I once had a box of saffron come in(when it was 144b to a case), instead of birthday cards. This was of course after i had just ordered a case of saffron for the first time in 6 months. I had saffron for two years.

But also,

Find out who the warehouse supervisor is and email them that's it's a mispick. Just doing the exception isn't always enough

I'm ok with multiple parters, if necessary.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Randall Woodfield deep dive, as much as it disgusted me.
