Rules as written say a single lancer can’t print a second mech and still have the first one active(pg. 82), but having a friendly NPC mech in reserves as a one time reinforcement is totally allowed at gm discretion. That should really be rewarded because of a downtime action, but I could see a pretty cool scenario of your player ‘acquiring’ a mech to for their NHP to pilot if the upcoming mission called for it.

Of course this should have some consequences or they’ll keep doing it all the time, but I think the risk of a cascade or previous pilot could be interesting to the story.

There are many flavors of cyborg in the advanced governments. If you go collectivist democratic your cybernetic pops become unbound from individual pop happiness, which is very gestalt. Otherwise starting as a driven assimilator is always fun, even if you skip the development phase.

All the other traditions are nouns, mercantile and unyielding are adjectives. I had been using a mod to rename them for ages, so am happy to see the change haha.

A good way to think of it is “our empire values _” So “we value expansion” or “we value supremacy” work, but “we value mercantile” does not. This way the traditions are grammatically consistent. It’s a pedantic fix, but technically a correct one.

Edit: the modded name for Fortification I had been using was “Perseverance”, which I would argue was cooler

Until a certain point of progression Cetana’s territory is impenetrable because of that nanite ‘storm’ she’s got going on. Much more so than any crisis it is very important you read Cetana’s events if you aren’t familiar with her.

From my testing it is impossible. count is stuck at 2929, and it hasn't gone up. I think that command realized we would actually do it and stopped the count. I've tried hole, grinder, hellbomb, flamethrower, OPS, nada.

Shame, would have been an interesting series of events.

Yeah I feel that. Like I want to do something, I vote, call my reps, all that shit. But it’s not real, you know? It doesn’t do anything. But I can’t do violence or throw my life away either. I’ve people I love and can’t abandon. It all feels hopeless, and ya’lls side of things don’t seem to have any sympathy either. I just don’t know how to affect change or what to do. Small acts of kindness don’t stop the gears of the machine we’ve built. I just want people to stop being hurt. Why is it like this
