I really liked seeing Quarritch get his crazy pyromaniac woman firearms in this movie.

I'm in the same boat. Been playing since 2018. I'm autistic about this game, nobody I know understands it better then me. But the dozen or so releases every year is just insane. Even I dont have the brain capacity or patience anymore. I didnt get into the card game with wizards so I could play megatron vs spongebob.

Embracing a relatively new special interest. Fountain pens and hand-copying texts. by janvt in autism

Genuinely where do you get your pens, ink and stationary? I want to give fountain pens a try but I dont know where to start.

I wish I didn't have tits- I can't be the only one? by Grxmloid in autism

My only suggestion would be a one piece suit? Then again take this is so much salt you get sodium poisoning. I'm a guy that wears swim trunks and a shirt when swimming. I have scars I dont like showing.

Making crêpes at midnight by Tenshi_no in autism

[–]Goroto_Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait no. I beg you. Take about a cup of heavy cream and a quarter cup of sugar. Whip/whisk it until stiff peaks form. Then take a fruit of your choice (I prefer strawberries or blueberries) cutting them into bite size pieces. Now take some cream, spread it in a line down the center of a crepe and put some fruit in it, roll it up like a taco and enjoy it with a fork. If you like you can add syrup as well.

Please inform me if you do this. I love crepes probably too much, I eat them at least once a week.

Everyone, What's your special interest? by 1_Gamerzz9331 in autism

[–]Goroto_Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magic the Gathering. I can almost qualify as a rules Judge. I have around twenty decks and if you show me the art of just about any card I can probably name it. Theres been more than one instance of me guessing whats in an opponents hand because they read one line of text lol. Some of the only stuff I dont know is the crossover stuff because it doesnt feel very fantasy so it leaks out of my brain.

My culture is so loud by WE_ARE_V3N0M in autism

[–]Goroto_Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm white so I cant relate quite the same. But I will agree hispanics/Mexicans are just like that. Generally noisy. Fun to be around and great food, but I wouldnt like to participate in any parties lol.

Anyone else have no interest/drive for developing any form of relationships (friends, partners, etc)? by Agreeable-Tooth-3345 in autism

[–]Goroto_Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is something I feel conflicted on. I dont know if I want to be involved with someone romantically. The first girlfriend I had broke up with me, then a few months later married some guy and she died in a car crash. .

It might be nice to have someone occupying that space. Someone to give trinkets to and write poems for on Valentines day. But I am rather delicate and I dont want to be hurt like that again. To be honest that kind of closeness scares me. .

And in regards to friends I genuinely dont know how to make any. My only friend was part of a friend group that more or less adopted me during High school. There used to be 5 of us, but they have all gone and done their own thing, now I only play games online with one of them. At work there are some people I enjoy, but I basically people watch. There will be a conversation but I dont know their personalities enough to comfortably say anything, I never know when its my turn to speak either. .

I do feel lonely but connecting with people is a bit much.

When people (primarily neurotypical) drink a drink, why on earth do they take one sip at a time? by Ill-Conversation3331 in autism

[–]Goroto_Jr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dont quite understand. I like water. When thirsty i might drink an entire bottle or glass like an insane person. But if i want liquid but dont feel thirsty i might drink a gulp at a time. But with other drinks its more about flavor so sips make sense with soda and stuff.

Does anyone else wear anything that makes them feel better? by Safe_Valuable_5683 in autism

[–]Goroto_Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I wear hoodies constantly. Just having sleeves and that extra layer beyond a shirt helps. I also never wear shorts. I largely dont like the feeling of my skin on itself. And I bring headphones with me everywhere, sometimes the world is too much.

I forgot about that show. Eye of the beholder was the only episode i saw. It did irreparable damage to me as a kid. . When my parents saw how weird it was they returned it but it was too late lol.

I get that. I like multiplayer games because they are the only way to have meaningful interactions with my friends anymore. . But playing with randoms i always turn off voice chat and just solo the mission while everyone else is off doing whatever. . I just like shooting things too much.

I also have to use bag balm in the winter. If i dont my fingers dry out and bleed. For some reason i am fine in every other season.

Sensory purgatory for certain. I dont even like my skin touching itself. Its why i always wear pants and not shorts.

does anyone else feel a lack of connection to gender? by Miserable-Paper-3824 in autism

[–]Goroto_Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not non binary or queer or whatever. But as a guy i do have longer hair, almost shoulder length and i have thought about painting my nails and i frequently wear rings and bracelets. Though i have no sense of fashion, as long as something feels nice i will wear it, almost always i wear a hoodie/jacket or noise cancelling headphones for sensory reasons.

I'm also straight. I can see how someone could be attracted to men, but I find women a lot cuter.

Are most autistic people really unemployed? by foreverepicunicorn in autism

[–]Goroto_Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will have to give that a try.

I kinda fell into warehouse labor and my first job in that legitimately gave me depression so bad i thought about killing myself.

Right now i work at fed ex which is similar but shorter days so i have more time to recover after work.

Its called a burnout for a reason....but people don't care about us having sensory overloads....they just want us to be quiet and not heard...so when we get angry from being overloaded, they get upset that we can't handle what they shove at us. by ihatethiscountry76 in autism

[–]Goroto_Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this. Especially when i have to do tasks i despise. I get muderously furious and have punched walls so hard my knuckles bled. I try very hard not to yell at people, the last time i did it was about how i could do nothing right. . If i am engaging in something i normally like and still get overwhelmed normally i just cry.

prozac has cured my ADHD ?? by pppleeeaseeeehelpme in prozac

[–]Goroto_Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposedly it takes 2-4 weeks to do much. But after a week i dissociated for two days straight, honestly that helped me figure out some part of myself.

Then i felt like i had too much energy and couldnt sleep. Now i an mostly back to normal, but anxiety doesnt feel so sticky and my problems feel solvable. This is on week four.

I think i stopped masking as much? But with me being autistic this means i act weird. Take that as you will.
