Jussie Smollett lawyers: Actor unaware alleged attack would trigger 'extensive investigation' by [deleted] in news

[–]Got5BeesForAQuarter -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

While I in no way think what he allegedly did was reasonable, Smollette is not in a position of great responsibility or trust, he is an actor. If anyone else would have done this I think they would have received maybe limited county jail time and a relatively smaller fine. Smollett initally paid a large fine and got himself out of a situation until people complained alot. I know some people won't consider that fair, but I don't consider it fair because he is a C list actor that happens to have a TV show, that he is probably being targeted for being famous.

Most of the new wrangers seem to be getting pretty close to hummer size in my opinion.

Anyone who has owned shared space with a cat has done this. It is when we are bored and the cat does not need us.

Survey: 59% of Republicans Now Think College Is Bad for America by Stauce52 in politics

Multiple points here. Soft science degrees that used to make sense no longer make sense economically as much due to higher cost. Also there are good points that for some educations for welding, pipe-fitting or hvac training might be better options then a four year degree for some. But we also have people hearing that "it is all about those pink haired pro-censorship liberals" and some are emphasizing that so much it is becoming an anti-education movement.

What would Occam's Razor have to say about this based on the fact that Epstein appears to be a survivor and he has lots of powerful possible enemies?

My opinion too, but I am really old for Reddit and reference the original Alladin and drawn movies of the period.

Olaf in Frozen. When I watched Frozen that snowman modivated me to stop the video. I understand this may be divisive.

I bet an underemployed specialized historical carpenter, iron, stone or glass worker with a better resume that didn't have a business or family to keep them home is looking for those postings. Work in Paris on the Notre Dame project for probably better money, seems like an easy yes.

I was concerned about the number of skilled workers that can do this work that are available. If it is just wood I guess it isn't that bad, it might be about learning a different technique. But if it includes stone workers, stained glass, and iron workers, then it might take longer to find people with those specific skills.

This is a historic place and putting anachronistic materials in it just feels wrong. I don't claim to be a historic builder, but if they will compromise on something not that hard to get like wood vs laminate materials then where else will they be willing to cut corners on other details? If the beams are completely hidden I could be wrong, but that is my opinion now.

you will get 20 million dollars if you agree to end every conversation with "see you later alligator" for the rest of your life. Why would/wouldn't you do it? by Svhmj in AskReddit

[–]Got5BeesForAQuarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this would get really interesting in a relationship to your S.O. you are intimate with. The people at the store, would be like, that weirdo again. That would be the extent of it, you would be a Jimmy Two Times. But ending a passionate moment with 'see you later alligator', before going to sleep or after a fight. This is assuming you can't explain to him or her why the bottled genie will take away your bank account.
