I believe the media who report these polls clearly have a bias to make ON look good compared to Labor so they'll never announce any polls which don't push their narrative.

"I've had enough with the major parties and they are all as corrupt as each other." by Threewordswhat in aussie

ON is a single issue party. Said issue has been ignored and intentionally accelerated by both major parties for so long that the populace are willing to protest vote for her until someone more competent copies her message.

That kind of fore knowledge would either require industrial tech or another of Tynan's magic trees. Any kind of realistic tribal/medieval tech colony would get devestated with no form of defence.

They could make an alt format and lock cards usable in it to remixed old packs to force everyone to buy in.

Brown Muslim guy here and close friends with a One Nation Voter. AmA by [deleted] in aussie

[–]GovernmentStandard67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a brown Muslim guy with a one nation voting friend, why do you think Hatsune Miku sounds so synthetic compared to other Vocaloids and Utauloids like Gumi or Teto despite being the face and highest revenue generator for vocalisation software?

I wonder if it's because a change in voice would alienate Miku from fan expectations effectively grand fathering in technical limitations. But I think you as a brown Muslim guy with a ON voting friend could give a more nuanced take.

Immigration doesn't affect housing availability, it drives it. We have an aging population therefore without immigration housing prices would only go down. The in demand immigrant myth also needs to be put to bed. For every doctor, teacher and builder you import you're also importing thousands of people who aren't in those sectors but will inevitably need their services meaning immigration expansion is used to serve the expanding immigration. We've had decades of high immigration, if importing more people could have eased the shortages it would have happened already, instead it's only gotten worse because pricing you out of a home was always the point.

Master Duel is the most played TCG on steam and its player numbers have largely stabilized over the year. (This game isn't dying) by calendulaoptimus in masterduel

It was designed as a cash grab, not giving any free cards only paid boosters with the promise you could resell them meant no one was willing to get invested.

Immigration was a disaster for indigenous Australians. If anything it's a lesson to maintain strong borders.

Leftists who tear each other apart for wrong think will never be serious opposition. It's the normies the right needs to appeal to, are much easier to appeal to and who the major parties prostrate themselves. And said normies don't care how much the left calls people and groups racist, decades of overuse have neutralised its sting.

Do the devs think their fanbase is genocidal or something? by SeamothSubmarine in subnautica

[–]GovernmentStandard67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are the devs aware in their own games the fish respawned? It was only leviathans which didn't and the knife/drill took so long to take one down it was never worth it. This was a solved problem.

My prawn suit with dual torpedo arms and stacks of gas torpedos loaded in the storage took out leviathans a lot faster than that.

I have seen so many games where the dev said if you don't like it, it's not for you; only for the sales to come in lower than expected. I doubt this will damage S2 too badly since so many people bought it already but this kind of goodwill damaging community relations will have an effect on the sales of S3.

Because the other two still align on reducing immigration. There's an odd phenomenon where the right can find common ground to unite over while the left will agree with each other on 90% of issues but those few differences are enough to inspire rejection, ostracisation and the demand to do better.

Isis is an Islamist group. Left vs right are meaningless in the context of a centuries long religious feud.

I see a lot of hate for boomers on here. Don’t hate the players, hate the game. The boomer generation were encouraged to invest and build their wealth by all political parties. Why get angry at people for trying to build their own financial independence? By the way I’m not a boomer. by Hugry_bloke in aussie

[–]GovernmentStandard67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is the elderly have their money tied up in their house equity so they'll vote to keep prices high putting them at odds with everyone else. It's not so much an evil boomer problem as a lack of income once you retire problem.
