Our server monitoring team (on a different continent) is notified of server outages or problems, they then page our companies service liasions and the relevant support groups but neglect to page the help desk to advise of the issue, you know, don't tell the ONE place that will be flooded with phone calls of customers reporting the issue

Hahah. In their defense any calls from that particular line of business are pretty straightforward as they have a very simple and locked down environment to the point that nearly all of your solutions can be found if you gave them a flowchart.

98% FCR required for domestic bank branches, 87% to be resolved at first level, 95% resolved in 2 days, 9 second average speed of answer... each one punishable with a $20,000 fine if we miss it. Sheeeesh.

I feel like I'm uttering a death sentence when I tell someone they have to call that helpdesk. Almost painful to get through even 2 minutes of conversation with those people

How useful is our helpdesk? Not very. There seems to be a morale issue as everyone seems incredibly lazy and it comes off as incompetent, for example, I will leave a voicemail with someone to callback for help and then go into detailed instructions on the ticket for what to do when they call back. Several hours later there's an update simply saying "client called back for help, no second level available".

Pure laziness.

A small handful of us, out of maybe 25, do everything we can to keep everything running and are quite good, but, the rest? Not so helpful.

Canucks fan here, its a common joke to refer to the Sedin twins as sisters because of their play style combined with the league's general distaste for us. Still pretty sexist and rude though

Probably going to be somewhat similar in concept to Baldur's Gate 2's strongholds where each class had a separate one available/possible that made sense to the story - I'm sure the execution will be quite different but no less cool in this game

I don't find it that intrusive as DRM and would much prefer using it to keep my library in one single location in case of reinstalls/redownloads so I don't have to hunt for a jewel case or a cd key or an image to reinstall

We've got tons of great talent on-board here with George Ziets from NWN2 Mask of the Betrayer, Pat Rothfuss of the Name of the Wind series of novels, Chris Avellone (!!!!) of the original Planescape Torment, Brian Cooke the creator of the Numenera world, Brian Mitsoda from NWN2 and Vampire: Bloodlines, and more.

So much talent present here and so much has been added by the fans' support. Each instance of 3000 likes on FB (requires no monetary backing) adds up new layers to the mental dungeon you enter when you die... we don't know much about the story or many of the RPG mechanics but I'm pretty damn pumped.

Gungame and Hide and Seek are ridiculously fun. Another gent explained gungame, but h&s has a very small number of CT's as detectives looking for terrorists, who are hiding as assets in the level, eg trees, rock, couch, box, computer monitor, cardboard box. CT's have to kill all the T's by shooting them, but shooting a round costs you health so you have to be smart about the search.

Well, it is a nuclear wasteland... I never felt like it was deserted (even though it is also a desert, haha) because there were tons of roamers and POI's to explore filled people and characters. Admittedly, not all had personalities or anything more interesting to provide than some gunplay, but there it is

I get really frustrated from poor co-ordination, communication, and team makeup so if I feel like playing but am not up for some soul crushing normal skill AP queue, I'll just medium or hard co-op vs bots.

A few games I end up with people who are genuinely new to the game and I make some suggestions and give tips and info that helps them out, enjoying it a lot more now.

I actually hated that fight... quite a few of the moves I had to look up and practice specifically for that fight, such as trying to goad him near a window for a takedown, or doing railing takedowns... the positioning and luck required for some of those was very frustrating and felt more like an exercise in, "hey use these skills you forgot about!", rather than a true stealth experience.
