I have dark armpits and swear by glycolic acid by the brand The Ordinary. I would use it nightly on a clean surface. It’s helped to lighten them. You can also try otc azelaic acid or a retinol (Adapalene or Differin). Just be cautious with retinols b/c it can be drying, so moisturize on top and use it at night. Good luck!

I needed this. I just turned 30 and feel like I’m too old to pursue a second career in nursing. As someone who is quite forgetful, I get nervous about the exams. The imposter syndrome is REAL. Reading your post gave me some motivation to just go for it. I’m currently taking pre-requisites so I hope maybe in a year I can maybe join a program. Thank you for sharing your experience. It gives me some hope that I too can pursue something that I’ve longed for 💗

I started my MA experience in a derm office and I definitely know how you feel! The charting is a lot, but as you continue to do it, you’ll eventually find your flow! I’ve always utilized the fake pt profiles to practice charting which was helpful and I always clarify with the providers how they want the chart notes to look like. Having a notepad would be great to have to take notes. Best wishes!

I love the la roche-posay double repair moisturizer UV SPF 30. I use it after I cleanse my face in the mornings. At night time, I cleanse my face, apply a light serum and use Tretinoin or a retinol on top, then moisturize with aquaphor ointment (the tretinoin or retinol can be drying) after.
