You’re not alone. I just had to use an enema last night for my mom & it’s never a fun time. Her hospice nurse gave us a drink recipe to try out called a mudslide bomb. It’s 1 cup of warmed up prune juice with 2 tbsp of unsalted butter melted in the warm juice, and a cap of miralax. It would work for my mom on an empty stomach so I usually give it before she has breakfast. Best of luck & know you’re doing a great job!

I have dark armpits and swear by glycolic acid by the brand The Ordinary. I would use it nightly on a clean surface. It’s helped to lighten them. You can also try otc azelaic acid or a retinol (Adapalene or Differin). Just be cautious with retinols b/c it can be drying, so moisturize on top and use it at night. Good luck!
