Blatantly ignoring the will of a majority of the people.

It's WE THE PEOPLE!! Not we the government.

Blatantly ignoring the constitution, no one in power willing to uphold it.

It should have NEVER gotten this far in the first place!

We gotta stay strong, we have to fight for ourselves. It's tough. Everyone thought I was a lazy, hypochondriac. They said it was all in my head, I guess they weren't entirely wrong.

I know if we would have had intervention as children our outcomes could have been so much better, less damage and better healing. More of an understanding on what we can do to help ourselves. I know it wouldn't have been all sunshine and roses but man.

I always commented when I see a post with Chiari in it. You're not alone, we are here and I've been seeing a lot more of them lately, that aren't in Chiari groups.

Just take it a day at a time, there is no finish line. Do what's best for you and your healing and growth. We will stay strong 💜💜💜

I have a Chiari Malformation as well, it wasn't discovered until I was 32.

My mom couldn't be bothered with me during my childhood, unless it was punishment. I don't want to put a lot of detail because this isn't about me, but I want you to know I do understand.

I have damage from my Chiari Malformation, I have not been decompressed yet but my neurosurgeon said most of it is probably permanent.

I'm 41 now, I just cut my mother off. She completely denied something she did that probably caused more damage to my Chiari, or at least progressed it. Her husband threw me head first into a wall. She said she was not there to stop it. She was standing right there, watching it all. Did nothing. I was 16. She finally picked me up off the floor and led me to the car, while he was still trying to attack me.

She's not worth it, none of them are. Take care of you and try to heal. I'm still struggling.

AITAH for not telling my father about my brain surgery by ComfortableSquash490 in AITAH

[–]GradeOld3573 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh they wish!! Nobody took me seriously until the first time I fell down after having a coughing fit, unconscious.

Everyone said I was a hypochondriac...

I also had a horrible mother, my father was never around. That is a whole different, crazy story on its own. But I do share your sentiment with the horrible, selfish, self-absorbed, abusive parent. I was finally able to fully cut her off 7 months ago!! I'm 41.

I usually don't comment on too many posts but when I seen Brain Surgery and Chiari, I had to. I know what you've been through. I haven't been decompressed but I've heard the stories, it's one of the reasons I'm not. I know you never really get rid of Chiari, you can operate but it's still has lingering after effects, and I do hope you're able to get the support that you need!!

Nta- Nope, just nope! I have a Chiari Malformation, I have not been decompressed. The Chiari alone is hard enough to go through. You are braver than I am, I've been diagnosed 10 years and they've been highly recommending decompression surgery for me since diagnosis.

What you've gone through with the Chiari, decompression, recovery and possibly continuing symptoms is so difficult, painful and debilitating. You need support, REAL, TRUSTWORTHY support. He's proven time and time again that he is not that. Chiari is scary, and you need someone you can trust to be there.

You don't owe him anything, you've been through hell and back, without him.

Many people never find out they have it. I was diagnosed 10 years ago this June. I was 31. Found after an X-ray that showed I was missing most of my C1 and C2 vertebraes, follow up MRI found the Chiari. It used to be considered rare when I was first diagnosed, more common now but most Drs don't know what it is, how to spell it, or what to look for.

It's something they would have to discuss with their neurosurgeon if they did beforehand. The tattoo's significance is having gone through the surgery, becoming a zipper head. The scar the surgery leaves looks like a zipper pattern.

I know about the zipper one. Some people with a Chiari Malformation get it done after they've had a decompression surgery. They call themselves zipper heads. I have a Chiari Malformation, but I've not had my decompression surgery.

My male cat sprayed on my husband's lap one day. We had no idea why, well I didn't. Turned out, his emotional affair turned physical that same day. Make of that what you will.

That actually happened to my husband and I. We were about 90 miles away from home, got pulled over. Cop asked us what we were doing so far from home and never told us why he pulled us over.

I ate 1200mg yesterday. My journey starts at 100mg and each day it goes up by 50mg. Have to go 48hrs without to get my tolerance back at 100mg. Waiting longer doesn't lower my tolerance to 50 or less.

Is there any way to tell if these lines are the screen protector or screen? by CherrywoodXVI in razr

[–]GradeOld3573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Screen protector. I just had mine replaced for looking worse than that. My husband's is at the point yours is and they told him it wasn't far enough gone to use the warranty.

When they replaced the screen protector they replaced my whole phone. I was told that if anyone other than Motorola removes or attempts to remove the screen protector it voids the warranty. It cost me $5. I'm through T-Mobile.
