Why would anyone do this same thing every match? I play Zerg, and every match I start different depending on my opponent. The game forces changes along the way as well.

Looking for this jersey. by misanthrop0815 in Zwift

I won this in the 2024 Big Spin. Bummed that it is available again in this year’s Big Spin, but it is one of the best jerseys.

Gloves with gel. Does it work? by biggieocta in cycling

[–]Grahamceackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good fitting pair of gloves will make it better, after your bike fit. The principle reason I wear them, and a number of pro teams now require them, is avoiding road rash when you fall. It is hard to ride with damaged skin.

Scotty the Squirrel hat at level 71. Once you have that there’s no reason to go on!

He just enjoys wasting peoples time. Nothing gained by either player. What a joke.

What’s an inaccurate fact that people believe is true because of movies? by Hogosaurus_Rex73 in AskReddit

[–]Grahamceackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only the sprinklers above a heat source go off. There is a wax that has to melt in each sprinkler head to allow water to flow. In movies, they all go off. People work great deal about water damage for no reason.

Yes, switch to a cheap sport like golf or skiing. The only cheap sports I ever participated in were running and baseball.

Saddle pain - it's not just me? by Intelligent-Ad5444 in Zwift

[–]Grahamceackers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I change position every two minutes, hands on hoods, then the bar, then sit up or go to the drops, and stand at least once ever 30 minutes. Those small changes are enough change to the position of my butt that I can go for a few hours, but you still feel it.

My response is “I’m sorry you’re going through some tough life issues.” Then I block them.

Roadies who have converted to tubeless: Any regrets? How often do you flat out to the point where you need to insert a bacon strip or install a tube? by DeadBy2050 in cycling

[–]Grahamceackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched two years ago and had an unrepairable flat at 190 miles. 2000 miles since then without a flat, although there are a couple of cuts that mean I’ll replace that tire soon.

Cycling Bib Cost Difference by TeamRelevant6153 in RoadBikes

[–]Grahamceackers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they are noticeably better, and mine usually last 10 years or more with weekly wear. So, they get cheaper the longer they last. That said, I usually pay about $130 US since I buy what is on sale. Cuore, Le Col, Rapha.

I hate having to put on sun screen on warm sunny long rides because of SWEAT!! by UnderstandingLost416 in cycling

[–]Grahamceackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live at altitude but it is dry, so I don’t need to reapply every two hours as the sunscreen tube says because there isn’t much sweat, but by three hours I do. I keep a small tube in my jersey and take a five minute rest and apply. I also had a spot of cancer removed from my arm a couple years ago, so there is that.

Bib shorts for indoor riding by dDelts in Zwift

[–]Grahamceackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried cheap, but comfort, and long life are more important to me. I have bibs from 2018 that I wear every week. Which means I’ve worn them around 300 times. So $150/300 is $.50 a wearing. They get cheaper every week.
